  • sexist pronouns being used throughout this entire series. women and people that don't conform to the gender binary play chess too

  • @ellistheisland feminist. 'nough said.

  • and how the hell u put that horse in corner?

  • @WatrixMatrix *Knight, not horse.

  • @WatrixMatrix Quite easy but it does take a plentiful amount of moves.. LOL!

  • what program do you use?

  • Exelent video!...

  • qh4 is the third move in the bishop gambit...aint so bad

  • you shouldnt say e4 controls e4 square cause it doesnt

  • pawns don't control the square that they are on

  • do you have any videos to raise your rating to around 1500?

  • @druglover200 I haven't made new videos in awhile. I think the lectures stop somewhere around 1000. To push for 1500, I would recommend reading Silman's "The Amateur Mind" and doing tons of tactic puzzles.

  • God saves the Queen!

  • nice vid, helped me alot..i found it funny because 5:41-5:57 is exactly wat i do lol

  • great vid! helped me alot considering i am a chess retard.

  • Uh-huh. I don't get how moving the bishop to C5 saves the queen on G3.

  • ...Bc5 threatens ...Qf2# if white tries to continue with Ne2 before playing d4

  • if u loose ur queen it doesnt mean you lose the game. how can someone rely on one piece? thats like hitler only using his blitzkrieg, it doesnt happen, you need all of your pieces

  • if you loose ur queek ur fucked

  • ...are you sure that pieces and pawns "control" the squares that they occupy?

  • great!!! tnx man

  • I like your tutorials; they are well-made. Thank you for your efforts. Keep up the good work!

  • Some simpler and shorter examples of Queen traps you might want to use:

    1.e4 e6 2.d4 Qf6?! 3.e5 Qf5?? 4.Bd3!

    1.e4 e5 2.Nc3 Qf6 3.Nd5 Qc6 4.Nf3 d6?? 5.Bb5!

    1.e4 e5 2.Bc4 Qg5?! 3.Nf3 Qxg2 4.Rg1 Qh3 5.Bxf7+! Kd8 6.d4 exd4?? 7.Rg3!

  • nice teaching ty!

  • Just found it lol, ignore my last comment.

  • where is the second part of this vid? not the advanced stategy and combinations, just the basic ones?

  • Invaluable advice. I've been a 'beginner' since I learned to play chess - i.e. 15 years ago. Hoping to brush up with videos like these. Never too late, what say? :-)

  • nice vid im an experianced chess player but was fun too watch, nice intro
