@druglover200 I haven't made new videos in awhile. I think the lectures stop somewhere around 1000. To push for 1500, I would recommend reading Silman's "The Amateur Mind" and doing tons of tactic puzzles.
if u loose ur queen it doesnt mean you lose the game. how can someone rely on one piece? thats like hitler only using his blitzkrieg, it doesnt happen, you need all of your pieces
Invaluable advice. I've been a 'beginner' since I learned to play chess - i.e. 15 years ago. Hoping to brush up with videos like these. Never too late, what say? :-)

sexist pronouns being used throughout this entire series. women and people that don't conform to the gender binary play chess too

Some simpler and shorter examples of Queen traps you might want to use:
1.e4 e6 2.d4 Qf6?! 3.e5 Qf5?? 4.Bd3!
1.e4 e5 2.Nc3 Qf6 3.Nd5 Qc6 4.Nf3 d6?? 5.Bb5!
1.e4 e5 2.Bc4 Qg5?! 3.Nf3 Qxg2 4.Rg1 Qh3 5.Bxf7+! Kd8 6.d4 exd4?? 7.Rg3!
