I saw a apparition before and you can't tell me I didn't cause I was there staring at the black figure running away. Also, even if there was a light source, there was a shadow... and no one was there.
Although at the same time, I must not be insane, because I've had other encounters with different ghosts. some nice, some mean. One haunted my room once. Then we moved. It followed me for a little while and then when I started lighting holy candles it went away.

A beautiful light shown, and all was calm once again...so trippy. Am I insane? Or did I actually have an ecounter with demons?

When the camera zooms out you see the spot appear, i think its something on the lens, because when the camera moves the spot moves withe the camera on the same place on the lens.

I actually saw something that debunked this. They tested the exact camera and found then when the exposure gets too high because of a light source, the camera goes negative as a default, that means black. It is totally possible that the mirror has an equally powerful light source. Wow, the guy just said what I said, this must've been what I saw. If you wanna see a real ghost watch the first Ghost Adventures documentary, not the series, but the movie. It's hard to find, but worth it.

@AboyWhisKeyboard The brightest part of the room is the light coming in through the curtains, where there isn't any black. the black mass is in medium light. I know what you're saying about the overloading effect, you see it a lot in early tv shows that were shot on early video tape and kinescopes that were filmed directly from a tv screen.
My house used to be a dairy farm some 100 years ago and the wife of the farmer was murdered right in the corner of our kitchen cuz theres a basement with a secret entrance and theres a safe down there and ppl wanted the money... Also not kidding theres sealed trapdoors in some of the ceilings and I often get creeped out here for no reason... Dont think its ghosts though.

Yes there is a scientific reason for the mist in the basement! All basements are underground and even though it's hot outside a basement always maintains a much much cooler tempature! And of course has anyone knows you open a door and the hot air moves down and mixs with the cooler air you get condensation! No scientific explaination my ass!

That is where the difference lays and the show can rely on its own definitions. Your explanation is valid; it's their definition of "simple scientific explanation" that becomes vague. Since the narration does state that its 95 degrees outside and basements normally have a cooler temperature, it's easily plausible for that mist to develop, especially considering the dust there.

the last video is definitely not a ghost. The temperature contrast makes the water vapor condensation and the fog appears. An example - when we quickly open a cold can of beer. Cheers!

I saw this on TV sometime in the 90s. I have it recorded. It still scares me. Its from ghost fact or fiction and I also have the alien/ufo one recorded. Most of the footage of ghosts are fake.
You are right most of the footage you see in this programme and many others are fake, however i found these 2 videos compelling they dont look fake to me. The first one shows a dark mass but not no direct light source. The second shows a swirling mist..very strange?

That black mass if from the camera. The idiot that took the shot looks to have it on a tripod as if he knew it did that. Its not a trick it's just the light effect from the shitty camera...wow the mass grows the same time he zooms out...it's amazing! Give me a break. This should have never made tv.
if you notice the light source is on the right you might expect the black mass effect to form from the lamp in centre of picture but its not switched on.
we are talking about the same thing..light causing problem to camera..my point is the light source is out of view. im no expert but surely the intense light should be in view to cause that effect to camera ?
