Yeah, we had quite a group, maybe 28 people in ours this year. The night ride was just wonderful. Its pretty beastly ^^. Maybe i'll get in contact with you one day i plan on going again.
I go there every Saturday... Great place and thats whats SC is all about...Beautiful Places, Smiling Faces. Sounds so good it might be mentioned in the Bible.
Look for the Yellow Recon 250, Blue Adidas Arm-Striped Jersey.
If i were you i would get a yamaha grizzly 700 eps or the new 550eps an atv is more manuverable u can controll it and go fast, and with the grizzlies they have awesome ground clearance and a goood locking dif for the tough situations.
I'm obviously a huge fan of six wheelers but for you, you should come join us (or someone close to you) on a group ride and try them out for yourself. If you go to our site there is a section for finding owners in your area to ride with. Good luck.
ill admit those things are prettybadass when it comes to bogging and trails but everything has its disadvantages and advantages like these are better than quads when to trails and bogs but it seems to me and i may be wrong but it looks like the tires ont hese things come off bead pretty easily i saw one vid a gy knocked 2 tires off bead at one time i could be wrong but ive neevr seen a 4wheeler do that
All AATVs produced today have beadlocks. The one in that video that you are talking about does not have beadlocks and can lose beads. We run really low pressure in the tires for grip and a better ride so without beadlocks you can lose a bead real easy. The fact that it lost two beads at one time on different sides of the six wheeler was a one-in-a-million type of thing. I was just glad that we caught it on video. But you are correct, there are advantages and disadvantages to everything.

why are the tires mounted backwards on it?
MudBogger911 1 year ago
@MudBogger911 The tires propel the six wheeler through water that way. Mounted the other way gives no water speed.

@mrgdud22 It depends on the model but most average around 25mph on land and 3-4mph on water. There are some however that can top 50mph.

plus the ground clearance dont look as much as a 4wheeler either
benjc4 2 years ago
I think the AATV with the most ground clearance has 12 or 13" of clearance under the tub.

Yeah, at 3:18 it shows the mud bog in the back and at 5:12 it shows us in the main mud bog at the front. We did just float through.
