Well this looks like a tree kangaroo with either mange (a tiny skin mite which causes the animal's hair to fall out) or possibly a rare hairless mutation. Its not a new species. There are many animals that ocassionally throw out a hairless mutation, look at hairless dogs, rats, cats etc. Just cause it has no fur doesn't mean its an alien FFS. People are so superstitious! The poor animal would just want to go home and now it has been caught and has to get prodded by scientists with needles.
