I like the idea of face up moves. EA took a huge step by adding "free-style" moves to their game. Back when Live 2003 released, it was the thing that made EA the dominant company. After that, they just sort of settled in and kept churning out the same game and 2K took it over. The freestyle moves have proved to be great for Fight Night but they just make things too complex and make the animations seem broken when you try to go from one move to another. I think the face up moves will add fluidity
i got you on that im a live fan but 2k9 fucking whooped!!!!!!!!!!!!! nba live 09 but how it is going 2k10 is going to be the same just with that mode from 2k5 where you can make a guy and build stats, and nba live 10 corrected there mistakes and is lookin fucking badass!
2k is doing the same thing as live, they do the real life tendencies, where they like to cut, spot up, and others, like where they like to isolate, set screens use the screens and even where they like to box out! but live is looking really improved this year and i think its gonna be a really close one! they added the dribble moves, and tons of improvements

look 2k stole some things two like black top that was in nba live 2003 where you can get 1 on 1's and pick up games and the free throw stick routine and some other stuff so dont complain

I'm actually hyped that live poses more of a theat this yr. NBA 2k11 will have to have a graphics recall and start from scratch. No more Jaggy lines and jerseys and better animations(not chained. Hate to see someone break out an animation at the 3pt and somehow skip to the rim untouched lol.)

Its way better than 09 i can tell, but still looks too cartoony for me.
i save this game for the Kids who know nothing about realistic basketball. Or havent played a day of Real basketball in there life.
