I have 2 deer that hang around my yard and I can get close, so long as I approach slow. I've been wanting to get a very close picture of it with me but I've only managed to get pictures of just it and or the other. I'm getting apples for the next time.
i agree with what alot of other people were saying, that was extremely dangerous what you were doing right there. people attempting to pet wild deer is the number one cause of human fatalities by deer and other wild animals.
haha.... he would be hanging on my wall. my good ol' hoyt will take care of him. lol. but for real cool vid, but be carefull doing that, just cuz ya take an animal out of thw wild dont mean u take the wild out of an animal
Thats awesome! Except I would NEVER let a buck near me...The does are fine, but those bucks can be brutal with those horns. I know someone who lost a dog cuz a buck wandered into their yard during the rut and the dog was just in the wrong place at the wrong time....
I went to the back door and there was this huge BUCK! I started shooting video and he just walked right up to me. I reached out to him and he smelled my fingers. Then he started pointing out pieces of grass he liked. I pcked them and hand-fed them to him. Then we walked over to a blackberry bush and I picked some and fed him by hand. I was ready to jump at any time. But I agree I was in danger! I hunted deer for years and I know them pretty well.
@tsilimon how do you feel when you have killed deer yet can make friends with a deer? some people raise deers as pets. could you do that having hunted them all those years? it is possible. deers seem to be close affectionate pets when they are tamed. Im just curious as to how you feel about that. Can you still hunt them?
@th3planetsghost I had a friend who raised baby deer and I was around them and I'm a hunter. I continue to hunt because I think the assumption that hunting is bad is incorrect. How do you think rural people feel about eating chickens, goats, etc. etc. after raising them? The problem is not in hunting or farming. The problem is modern people are lost and alienated from reality and Nature in general.
@th3planetsghost i know a guy that had a pet deer named prancer...and he hunted. they let it back in the wild though and he quickly became scared of humans and ran with the other deer. sadly he got hit by a car not to long ago
@th3planetsghost lol tame pets , well i have a friend that has a deer farm not a big one but there are 8 to 10 does and one buck named JB , hes nice untill october comes to an end , you think they are tame walk in that pen when it is the rutt and see what your antihunting ass gets thinking they are tamed pets !! your a fucking idiot !!!and when i shoot a deer ,i feel great knowing that my family will eat ,and i thank mother nature for her gift of food not your fucking god!!
@69C10lowrider 1) Anyone who expects a wild animal not to be aggressive at times is a moron, especially an animal that is in a "pen". 2) Where did I say I was anti hunting? I just find killing humans more satisfying than animals. 3) I feel great knowing your family eats lead poisoned food cause their daddy is a cheap drunk who won't even buy steel ammunition. When your family dies from cancer, I will feel great knowing you're a dumb fuck. Don't reply to my comments you fucktard.
@th3planetsghost i was around young fawns a friend had. I still hunt deer because I see hunting as natural and right. I think we should all question our belief system. There is no free lunch all life requires death. Whatever we eat requires life to be killed. Farmers and people raised on farms know this. People used to raise chickens and rabbits for food. All to rare today although most people still eat chicken and yet get pissed off at a turkey hunter. Insane.
this is one animal I would never eat, the animals or life forms I would never eat : Deer, Lambs, meerkats, Dogs , Cata..Wolfs, any other animal is fine to eat though
Thats pretty cool ..I have a few mule deer that I feed by hand ..check out my video of me feeding the big buck in my neighborhood..i call him mine but he is actually a wild buck :P
lol thats pc i had a friend who found a fawn almost dead and ther mom was a doc so they nursed it back to health over 1 week but still kept it by mom at all times xcept for treating really cool
