dave, what about if i need to change the complete front end(forks and triple trees)...i cant use the new front stand in that case because the lower triple is being removed as well.
do i need jack stands that lift at the frame sliders in the front? so the pit bull jack stands wont work for me right?
@bboynicku use your front and rear stand to get the bike in the air. Then you can use the foot peg stands for that, and rest the frame sliders on them. Other option is to use a single jack stand under the motor or wooden blocks under the exhaust. Once the bike is solid, remove the front stand and remove the front end.
Great over view Dave! I was wondering, could that front stand converter be used on other brand named stands or would I have to have a pitbull?

@asmith929 As long as the converter can be firmly held on the lower stand, there's no reason why it shouldn't work. It MUST lock in the same way!
