Can someone explain to me what the point of quick scoping is? I've gone up against quick scopers many many times, and I always win. Why? I use the sniper rifle the way it was meant to be used. I don't pussy foot around and try to humiliate my opponent, I kill them quick and clean, and I don't need to quick scope to do it.

The only thing I see it accomplish is making me mad when someone on my team tries to do it and ends up dying and costing me a game or making it harder to win.

I'm a fan of realistic sniping, but come on guys. This is CALL OF DUTY. Activision will never make sniping in this game realistic! What, you expect you play a game were you have to aim a little above the person so the bullet hits the target? Do you want to play a call of duty game were wind can screw up your whole shot when it comes to sniping? This is an ARCADE type of game. If you want realistic sniping, then go to ArmA 2.

Competitive is taking over. Machinima/TheMSPTeam has taken Competitive to a whole new level with SniperLeaderBoardOG and NSLeague.

Everyone else who thinks people who are 'good' at sniping have no lives, don't snipe. I bet this is coming from those kids who use the M40A3 (With Steady-Aim) and Intervention (with SoH, Hardline, and Commando/Steady Aim) who think they are good, but suddenly get jealous when they see someone better.

Some people don't realize that this is an COD has an arcade style and is not a simulation. I see quickscoping as an art, and I respect it as I do any other art. i don't believe snipers anymore. theres a hack out that allows you to aim down sights and then it will help aim better and you'll get those shots off. if you watch this video he has trouble getting those kills while the enemy is moving. but if the enemy is standing or running straight into him is real easy to get those one shot kills. my friend has the hack and its not fun playing against snipers or any player in MW2 anymore.
