@braejas with my room as horribly messy as it is, not for the foreseeable future. just imagine all the furniture where it is when the video starts, but replace the couch with a couple chairs and a table right under that window. and theres a craft table over the yellow planet. I also painted the walls a blue slightly lighter than whats used in the galaxy. that yellow/beige was nasty.

Eventually (as in, in a few weeks/months from when it was painted) I bet that's going to crack something fierce from walking all over it, and it's going to look like crap. Spray paint doesn't do very well with fabrics/textiles because it's thin and stiff.

Yes, the floor was concrete with random paint splotches and plaster stains, which is why I decided to paint over it in the first place.

1) Thats what she said.

2) It dried pretty quickly (3-4 hours till it could be lightly walked on) so, if I kept my feet moving and wore socks, I could put down another coat.

I put a sealant on last thats dried to a perfect water-proof, non-stick clear coat.

I did put a sealant down over the paint and its held up pretty nicely for the last 7 months. Cleaning is actually easier since the floor is now water-proof. Thanks everyone who enjoyed the video and left awesome comments.

KICKASS. I'm assuming, for those who are commenting on the spray paint usage, that it was necessary to achieve the texture of the planets and such. Also, having a painted floor wouldn't get any dirtier than a plain one...you can just sweep it either way. That not a parade, it's just a hallucination from the fumes, j/k. I just think that some people would not take the correct precautions when trying something like this. There some really dumb people out there. Did you see Miss Teen South Carolina? Even the question she was asked was scary, 1/5 of Americans can't locate the U.S on a world map. The painting was awesome though, the process just could be dangerous for some people who wouldn't know better.
