if your going to tell a person off for not telling the truth, why do you lie and misrepresent the "evidence" of his lie? is not that not even worse. rebuking someone and doing the same is being a hypocrite. i've been a hypocrite before... but i think you'd agree its something to avoid.

@jonfitter You answered your own question there. Surely if somebody was telling lies about something close to you, in this case Islam, you would stand up for it so that less people are misguided. The government tell lies so people expose them, everybody should be exposed if they are spreading disinformation. Let me run around Africa telling them the missionaries spreading Christianity are of the devil. This isnt true but the millions of poverty stricken africans will beleive it!

So if we convert in private then who will any 1 ever know that you have converted and we have plenty of videos on the YT where ppl convert in front of an audience with an imam presents then why is this if not necessary, is it then a show of, or some where its a pretty white girl converting, not tell us that the only reason why she does it is because of marriage to a muslim
