  • this video is cool. they arent the same, similar though. it gets even more confusing when you see people who can do both moves from the same side (usually they are done on the opposite sides.) ill admit it can be confusing if someone does hook into aerial switch, since hook (suicide)swipe is more common. to me a suicide swipe is a sideswipe that you jump dead on to. an aerial switch is more just that, an aerial take off and swing/switch legs

  • Chris Dee does a Suicideswipe, but Manny Brown not, look at his head and shoulders, its an aerial switch

  • sideswipe bro...sideswipe

  • Grrrr, I just don't see the difference between this and a good sideswipe. Can somebody explain? Because a sideswipe IS an inverted raiz-switch, an inverted raiz is a good raiz, not a special move, at least this is what I know.

  • @Taither in a suicideswipe, you jump into it (look up arnold chon 2001 form at french open.) aerial switch (which was/is also called sideswipe sometimes) is what kim do does in his US Open 98 form where he debuted it. Its like an aerial/gymnastic barani and you switch legs and land on it. look at the position of the hands and legs.

  • Love the reflection of the lamp on the tv lol. Cool theory

  • that's just a sideswipe that way Kim-Do does it

  • Nicely stated.

I've known the difference for a while but have had a lot of people argue that it's just an a-switch. Good job on the myth de-bunking!
