I'm ordering the DVD with sound track, plus the movie from Ebay, is this youtube video coming from that same DVD? This Dvd I ordered has English sub titles to..Just wondering if this was from the movie DVD..

I like both versions. I feel that more people wouldn't call Tidus annoying if they heard his Japanese voice. Though I think - for the voice over bits when Tidus actually narrates that his English version suits for a better feel.

@ShuyinsSoldier I think his Japanese counterpart also does a great job narrating, as well as his english; his English counterpart actally sounds like he's actually imitating him.

Tidus English voice actor did do a great job portraying Tidus personality, but the main reason why I think Tidus's Japanese voice actor fits him better is because Tidus himself looks very asian.

@xoa That makes sense. I'm also pretty used to Tidus' English voice so I might just need to adjust.

And I agree with the portrayal bit. I think I still might be torn, where it's nearly half and half when it comes to who fits overall. I think both are good choices for his voice, though for certain scenes I prefer the English over the Japanese and vice versa.

This is incredible, you can actually feel Tidus means what he's saying. His english voice doesn't stand a chance against the japanese. His scream at 0:58 is a perfect example.

I was wondering, is it true that one can get an unedited International version of the game with japanese voices and with the option of english subtitles? NTSC, also.

Tidus was originally supposed to be very aggressive and impulsive.

While lots of this remains in the American version, his Japanese personality is much more crazy. XD

Man. Amazing how much a voice can make or break a character. I love Tidus' Japanese voice, but I prefer Auron's English voice.

Tidus Japanese voice gets annoying after a while as well.

I think he talks too much in general.

It's true the Ti-da becomes annoying at times as well, but he's actually cool in the American version, whereas his American personlity is just, well, overall whiny.

So (s)he seems to be uploading the whole game - at least I hope so. :D
