  • thx

  • HELL YA after three freakin day i can finally do !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • doesnt help your left handed D:!!!!!!!!!!

but i can do it now thanks <3

  • @AJTh2k9 I am actually right handed. That is why I do all my one handed cut left handed. When you are right handed you generally hold the cards in your left hand for dealing or for magic, to leave your right hand open for whatever. So you want to be able to do your flourishes in your left instead of having an awkward pause to switch to right hand, the switch back to deal.

  • @4jacksFort

    fair enough! :'D

  • Good tut Thanks!!!

  • thanks alot i looked everywhere for a good tutorial and this was it helped me out a lot thanks!

  • @mrelectric100 No Problem. Glad you got it.

  • song ?

  • @mathes22223 The Band is called "Fuel". And the song is "Shimmer"

  • nice tutorial, thanks

  • Pretty much a flipped version of the scissor cut...

  • @DillonReynaMagic Yup, with a 180 degree turn in it

  • HOLY CRAP I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Stallari21 That's exactly what I said when I first did it.

  • seems simple like the video however when i cut and pivit i cant clear the deck...

  • @ultimatevids , cut the deck and pivot as far as you can, using the rotation of the thumb around the index finger. When you can't go any further try extending your pinkie as far as you can to kind of rotate the bottom packet in the opposite direction and out of the way. Hope that helps.

  • Thank you sir, really loved this...you made it look so easy.. thanks again

  • nice.. pretty simple and it looks good)

    thx =)

  • this is one of the easier cuts you've taught. Thanks :)

  • @razmadaz123 This is really the cut that started it all for me. I saw this cut on a TV show in 1992 and was pretty impressed and started to get into cards. I learned the Charlier first but didn't learn anything after that for a long time. Then I went back and found the tv episode I found and figured this out and then it just got really addictive.

  • i like this cut very much

  • very nice learnt it first time!

  • Do you have to have giant hands for this?

  • thnx man i love it hard at first but after i practice i got it down THNX

  • ahhh men your left hand

  • @JAPGproductions actually most of the card flourisher's (right handed) find flouirishes easier to do with left hand... :)

    I can tell from experience...

  • sweet finnaly I've been intrigued by it ever since my 6th grade teacher did it

  • dude love your tutorials...ill sub

  • great finally i found this video. i've been looking for this trick. subscribed :D

btw what's the name of the song ?

  • thats kinda lame, its like a combination of the YTBN cut and the scissor hand cut

  • aaahhhhh this is doing my head in, i can justabout get it but every time i split the deck and use my thumb the bottom half just falls into my palm,

    help please

  • If the bottom half is falling on your palm, then your not keeping the pressure between the index finger and the Middle finger. The index just acts as a pivot, you have to keep the contstant pressure.

  • i got it now man thanks,

    great help

    subscribed

  • Good to hear!

  • Does this cut have anything to do with hand size, cuz I have small hands. or is it just technique that I need?

  • small hands make everything harder. You just have to practice more than ppl with average hands. Also you have to pay close attention to everthing to make sure the cards move the right ways.

  • Hey these are great, unique videos. Thanks a lot for sharing. These are also great strengthening exercises for the hands

  • im a lefty when it comes to cards lol. now i've finally found a lefty that makes good vids. so much easier ty keep em comin

  • I'm actually right handed. I seem to be alone in this philosophy, but if you deal with your right hand you should hold the cards in your left, and that is where you should be able to do all your one handed cuts.

  • i swap hands actually. almost everything i do with cards is left handed. i hold the deck in my right hand when dealing. but when it comes to the thumb cut i use my right hand. cant seem to do it with my left

  • I'm the exact same way. I'm very much a right handed person, but can only do these cuts with my left hand

  • what is name of song

  • argh, its hard enough to try to do the cut let alone invert left and rights lol...the olden day people were right, lefties are evil and it should be beaten out of them :P:P

  • love all your other vids but this damn cut!!! arrghhh i just can't do it!!

  • uuh can you make a tutorial for the right handed version so the left-handies or people that have trouble doing it with the left can try the right? thx.

  • I could send you the video, and you could use mirror the image in your video editing software, but I haven't made a video in a little while, and my next videos will probably be performance not tutorials.

  • thanks but i got it down anyways... heheh... can't wait to see those awesome fans/ complicated cuts... seriously.

  • omg my hands are too small

  • i have to small hands...but i try this cut all day and in the end i succeed:)

  • thanks for the tutorial but it was meant for left handers right

  • no, I am right handed. A right handed person holds the deck in thier left hand to deal the cards. Therefore you should be able to do all your one handed cuts in your left hand and return to dealing position.

Doesn't hurt to be able to do it in your right hand also.

  • what song is that?

  • Shimmer by the band Fuel

  • i cannot do any of your cuts watsoever any help?

  • start on the Charlier cut. Just attempt to do it 100 times in a row. It sounds like a lot but really it will only take you 10-20 minutes. Your fingers need the repetition in order to learn something

  • ok cheers ,youre a really good magician

  • actually, i'm just a flourisher, I don't do magic, but thanks.

Let me know how it goes.

  • check mine i have a video response

    if you have any problems

p.s your tutorial was very good an u chck mine

  • thats actually called the hotshot cut

  • Daryl's hot shot is a little different. This is the knuckle cut. You can perform a 'shot' out of it, but Daryl's Hot Shot is much for that. Check Jerry's EPoPCF for clarification.

  • btw nice job i subscribed

  • not really, this is actually a move you can do with smaller hands, becuase you are working with the width of the deck and not the length.

  • does ur hand sizes matter?

  • no....i have really small hands

  • thank you for the step by step

  • Just one word: nice

  • actually that was 5 :D

  • Actually it was only 4, lol but who's counting
