I have no idea what it is about this game and Dark Souls that I find so addictive. It may be just the thrill of playing a game that will kick your ass if you're not good. So many games made today are so easy, they're fun, but the ease of the games just don't give you the same thrill as this kind of game.

I thought it would be fun to do the run through as well, and I followed his steps and I even have higher stats than he does and I have the clever rats ring and the magical sharpness ring on when fighting the man eaters and the most I get is 246 on the tail and 176 on the chest. what am I missing other than this is the Japanese version of the game!?

@Archamitect He's using the crescent falchion that he picked up in the graveyard which has a large magic stat bonus - I guess that's why.

@Archamitect He's playing Magician to start with the highest Magic stat, he grabbed the Crescent Falchion +1 in 4-1, then pumped all his souls into Magic.  The Crescent Falchion's damage scales up with his Magic stat. Maximum low level damage.

@piotrlysek This game is incredibly difficult. The enemies take a little bit to react to your presence, so you CAN easily run past them. However, if you have to come back for whatever reason, they'll most likely kill you. You also don't see it, but a lot of the enemies would be chasing after him.

He's also a lot faster and can run longer because hes not wearing armor. The downside of that is if you get hit you're practically dead. Not that it matters if you don't get hit. XD

It's NG+ Bosses dont do much damage in NG++ u die in 1 hit, even though the guy is too cocky he's very good, and he let the BP hit it cause he's wearing the Clever Rat Ring who increase your attack (very high damage) when your health is about 30% or below ^^ this guy has beat the game more than six, i beat it 6 times and im no where close to his knowledge of the pattern of the enemies ^^
