i need a professional answer...no treo 800 enthusiasts nor touch pro enthusiasts...i need an answer from someone who has had both and use them with hectic schedules...i have a treo 800 and i use program after program after program....i need an extremely fast processor like the 800...i had a 700wx and i went to a touch, hated it....bought a treo 800, loved it...tried htc mogul, and it became aquainted with my wall and the floor (i destroyed it)..back to 800...is the pro any good? as fast as 800?

actually, i do believe it depends on whether or not you have a GSM version or CDMA version of the phone.

correct me if i'm mistaken, but CDMA does not have a sim card slot (unnecessary) and the GSM will have a slot.

@leodee there are to different types of cell phones some take the sim cards thers don't in fact i find better overall use with a cdma(non-sim card phone) than with a sim card type phone mainly because the networks that take sim cards are more costly to operate within the area which i live at. I have this phone for sprint which is a cdma phone and i have it running on boosts prepaid network and i like it better than any sim card network... learn alittle more b4 u sugest stupid comments.

yes, it is one of the best, if not the best phone on the market, im gonna take one too. The only real con i can think of is that it is really thick (18mm IIRC). Although, if you are not used to windows mobile, you should let someone explain everything to you (like my dad sucks at WM, he keeps forgetting to shut down programs and just presses OK buttons)

oh, okay, then its okay, my mom has a diamond so i can work on that and Touch Flow 3D is very easy to use, so you wont have any problems with that ;) (i have tytn II so i also know how non-touch flow phones work). i dont think you will have any problems with the phone

i want this want the touch pro so bad but to bad in the us Verizon and Sprint users will be the only ones with this phone. I would not pay $650 to $700 for a phone to be unlocked.
