  • nick isn´t the problem ...don´t attack the wrong target ... if you can´t see that ... i mean you are intelligent in analysing the problem but the question is : are you intelligent in adressing the problem to the right audience ...actually it is not a question it´s a request for the future

  • Gary, people who say Democracy isnt possible without Capitalism, especially deregulation -are all Fascist apologists promoting Inequality so it destroys the Democracy we have.

when i say Fascist ... i dont mean generic calling people Fascist just because i disagree with them & demonizing them.

i mean real actual literal Fascist apologist.

Ayn Rand, queen of Fascist apologism, was far more than just anti-Communist but a Fascist propagandist working with post-WWII Nazi exiles from Buenos-Aires.

  • @VampiressOnDaProwlq could you explain the policies of fascism?

  • @Emil246

it would take me several comments to elaborate an accurate and even a minimally complete and with only essential details so it's far better for you to look at some vids.

PM me and i suggest vids and send them for you.

  • The manipulation of man has been going on for way to long. Religion, Politics,Sports,Advertisement's and yes, you nailed it. Just look at the soups in the supermarket, how the fuck can the small soup guy make it with Campbell's at eye level? We've all been born into mental slavery and are all so trapped but yes, heads may have to roll someday before people start to recognize the rules. Thanks for all your effort in trying to ,well, just trying to try. Your VloggerHeads videos are great.

  • Hmm. I know this wasn't your point, and you were using hyperbole but... Legalism.

I don't think I need to explain what Legalism is, because I'm sure you know and I don't want to be patronising by defining it in a video. Just reminding you.

  • gary 4 president

  • @longcatisloooooong Don't cheer, discuss!

  • Communism in Russia was successful in its core purpose: to develop an illiterate peasant society into an educated, industrialized one with a basic standard of living for the greatest number. It made unquestionable "sense" for a country with Russia's state of development ca. 1917. Sure it was repressive - it was Russia, not Canada. That in itself has 0 to do with the idea of the model. Marx even rejected socialism for Russia precisely for that reason.

  • There is no "Ideal"

    There is no "Fair"

Never will be. Humans function on greed at the most basic level. Greed to survive, greed to eat, greed to procreate. That base motivation will show up in any large societal construct be it capitalism, communism, democracy, etc...

If you think there will ever be an ongoing condition of fairness for any significant period of time you are deluded.

Best system is "Every man for himself". The strong survive, People are forced to work together or die.

  • I love your videos. The debates are awesome. Keep doing what you do:)

  • Nothing is ever going to change.

    People are too stupid.

  • Let's split the US down the middle. We'll stick the working folk in the East coast and implement Gary's draconian method. And all the hippies can go in the West coast. In Hippieland, there is no rule, just love. It'll be a nice social experiment. In ten years time we can check to see how the two cultures are doing.

  • themodernmystic = unfair advantage towards people born to wealth

inmendham = unfair advantage towards people born with higher IQs

it will be UNFAIR either way

(and don't try to say that people with higher IQs will do more good in the world... they will use their intelligence as a 'scheming tool' and you know it)

  • Holy shit. You were on a roll here..

Great video - should be shared as much as possible.

  • Climate Change and Peak oil will put an end to the current system. We see the evidence now with food prices, and energy prices! Capitalism of course won't fall without a big fight...Too many people support this system. I'm affraid the consciousness of humanity will only learn and change when we hit total catastrophe!

  • Capitalism as it exists today is crap but could be better with a major overhaul with stricter rules and regulations.

  • I agree with your message but not with your language.

  • socretes was put to death by a democracy

  • Since you mention libraries, I've often wonder what it would be like to have private libraries. If a private for profit library had a lot of new and up to date book, i'd be willing to pay like 20 a month or something. It would be really nice. A lot of stuff at public libraries is really out of date.

  • Mob rules within democracies so as money rules in capitalism. Both will strangle themselves into monopolism and that is like cancer is killing its host.

Real communism has never been tryed neither real capitalism.

Both can't function with a political system of power. The goal is always monopolism. Politically and economically.

    Avoid monopols?

    Voluntarism? Self ownership?

What about a real free market with no ownership of things? I really don't know. Interesting dialog though.

  • I hope I don't get blocked :(

  • Hey gary, if race is a social construct, is genocide possible?

  • Communism was a failure.

That sentence is the biggest indicator if someone has any substantial intellectual capacity. The ones who utter that sentence have little to no intellectual capacity.

Communism was not created to compete with a ever-expanding system. Communism was far from perfect and pretty disagreeable in a lot of ways, but it was not designed to promote unending growth.

Living things stop growing, the economy is a living system. Growth cannot be sustained, development can.

  • @youngbuck189 Communism was about developing societies and it was very successful at that. A good Western education prevents people from making rational comparisons. The standard comparison is to compare Russia and the U.S.A in 1990. Who was richer?

It's an irrational comparison. Were the two equal in 1917? Russia was a serfdom with industrialization limited to a couple cities. The U.S. was the largest economy and industrial base in the world. Russia was comparable to Brazil. Who developed?

  • Its not simply about having wealth. Its no use to the capitalist meglomaniacs to have a flash BMW if everyone on their street has one!

  • Gary, I think you'd be an excellent ruler, you'd have my support.

  • yea the electronic corporation owners, pal owns the battery corporation, and we are buying batteries faster than we should. bastards

  • dems fightin werds!

  • from how i see it.. and that is the core of the problem, that stepping out of line is ultimately backed up by a gun, if you take that away, you take taxes away, you take the skewed rules away, the entire thing collapses without the threat of punishment for the rules that have not been designed in the majority's favour. so dont think you'll take much notice of this comment.. but its like youre on the right track thinking but communism is just the complete opposite direction in logic..

  • People are retards, capitalism refers to profit making. period. Capitalism have managed to survive because there has been "room" for growth. The game is changing and it's coming with peak oil. Without growth where does capitalism take it's capital? From the bottom of the phyramid. Now put that into a time axis and what do you have? New type of Feudalism, instead of Monarchs you will have Oligarcs. Game over.

  • At ~3:16 Are you saying that loss of workers bargaining power is caused by the ever-present tendency of people to procreate at a higher rate wealth is created? But isn't this shown to be a false thesis by the fact that at least 20 countries with much higher relative standards of living have low or even negative population growths?

  • Comment removed

  • @laskji I would be of the persuasion that lack of bargaining power of the workers is originally caused by special privilege... one type of which Marx called 'primitive accumulation' ... An example of which would be the European settlers simple kicking native americans off their land, or defrauding them of it.... Or simply massacring them. Or, as Gabriel Kolko shows in 'the triumph of conservatism," Corporations taking control of the government apparatus and tilting the game in their own favor..

  • regulations that favour the rich and rig the game so that the only people who come into power will always tilt the game in favour of those that have invested money and have connections.. the solution to this in my opinion is to see the state for what it is, and allow people to create rules independent of politicians, because the state is a skewed representation of people and those with the ultimate power such as the monopolised police are ultimately run by those rich.. there is the problem..

  • i agree with you on two points, that the ta system is unfair and hurts the poor disproportional and that politicians do not represent 'the people'. and these are two of the most important things, but i completely disagree with you on what the source of the problem is, you believe it is the rich, and i agree with you sort of, but i think that the only way that they are able to obtain the level of power and wealth is through the unequal government system perpetrated through tax and rules and..

  • yep, great video. assholes stealing peoples recources, thus lives, have to go.

no real democracy and no real representation - absolutely true.

very sad how human potential is wasted to please a handful of sons of bitches

  • Nobody WANT to help people, atleast most would not. Most people want to be pigs on the top, looking down at the rest.

  • @HorridDreams that's because they were raised this way "you have to better than others, you need to hurt the competition to be successful"

  • Years ago in college, I brought up this very issue of inheritance and its unfairness in an economics class. The response to me was as follows:

"Understand this: If Marx came back today, he would have to recognize the US as the most egalitarian society today with the highest standard of living."

Thirty years have gone by since that comment, and I still question the topic and realize the he was just comparing scars.

  • @ScruffysGreatestFan Egalitarian while the dollar scam was running. Take away the dollars world reserve currency and what do you have???

44Million people in Food stamps...haha what a joke.

  • he sells it well, i took two.

  • You'd think that people would have had enough of silly love songs. Well I look around me and I see it isn't so. Some people want to fill the world with silly love songs. What's wrong with that? I'd like to know, cuz here I go again. I'm thinking that people are way too in love with Capitalism. Me, I always worry about sick people. People are half broken machines and maybe that's pathetic, but it's the truth. IDK. My question about any society is- tell me about the artists and musicians.
