first, agreeing on something and following them are distinctly different matters. second, had the usmc and the rest of it's military adhered to the islamic code of warfare, they wouldn't have deliberately targeted and killed unarmed civilians in iraq and afghanistan. this proves that us army can learn from islamic rules of warfare which is not mutually exclusive with saying they can learn from the geneva convention.

Atheists defend Islam? That seems weird to me. Maybe that's because more atheists on youtube who speak English than Muslims who speak English. As one who is not especially religious and more on the Left, I have a lot of problems with how Islam is practiced by some. I don't like how a lot of people practice religion. But when Christians were insulted by "The Passion of the Christ" they demonstrated. When Muslims were insulted by the film "Mohammad," they rioted and threatened to kill people.

My question is why does it matter that atheist are defending Islam. They have a right to as much as you do to defend anything else. They may be wrong, so let them be wrong, or better yet, prove them wrong. But don't whine and complain that they don't agree. Also, all doing a video response to people attacking you does is give your audience a reason to look at their videos which in turn draws attention to that person. Which may or may not be what they want.

Each criticized group tries to defend itself. Exception is Islam. proclaimed atheists are defending it.
He gets LOTS of criticism. Much of it along the lines of what he's shown in this video.
No doubt he gets legitimate criticism, but he's pointing out the flak he's gotten over time for running his channel as he has.
Getting needless rage can be discouraging. Yet he's willing to put up with it.
