Got a question for ya, I also currently own Prophecies. And im thinking of buying either Nightfall or Factions, but I can't decide. Can u give me any feedback or your opinion on both and which u might recommend?
Yes it's an online multiplayer game. You can have up to 8 people in an instance but you can meet several hundred people in towns (although that's the most I've ever seen, not the average :)). If you're new to Guild Wars, probably best to get the Guild Wars Prophecies/Eye of the North pack.
uh not quite sure what you mean but if you're asking if your Factions character can go to other chapters like Prophecies and Nightfall the answer is yes :).

Whoops sorry for the late reply. It's Uhiwi's Shortbow and it's a unique item. You get it as a drop in Nightfall - can't quite remember where - check out one of the wikis to find out :).
AFAIK you have to buy them separately yes - but you can link the games all to the same account if you so wish. GW isn't first-person by default but you can zoom right in so it feels like first-person. Controls involve either using the mouse exclusively or a combo of keyboard and mouse (which is what I do)
Hey hemmie. Yeah that pretty much sums it up. They had good intentions by setting some of it in a city except Kaineng is a slum, so it turned out to be very drab and dreary :/. Pre-Searing Ascalon ftw! :P

Depends what you prefer. If you prefer PvP, go for Factions. If you prefer PvE, go for Nightfall.

Yeah, I dont do much with PvP so i'll probably go for NF plus I have heard some suckish things about Fac latley. So thanks for the help.

Prophecies is the best one. Really!
Factions is okay I guess. Maybe a little too easy.
Nightfall is good, but will never be as good as Prohpe.
I haven't played Eye of the North yet, but can't wait till I get it! :D

If you like Prophecies, you'll love Eye of the North. It's basically targeted for Prophecies fans :).

this is the best game so far, but I can't wait for EOTN, and Guild Wars 2. nice video, but a bit too much of your chars, compared to the scenery.

I agree. Prophecies IS the best series. Good times :).
Factions : Worst one ever. I HATE Kaineng City and anything to do with the cities. The ones in Jade Sea/Echovald Forest were okay.
Nightfall : I love the heros :)
