  • FORD FOR ALL!!

  • Comment removed

  • Fantastic video Neha Rag

  • Awesome Video.

  • nice

  • i really think that Ford should go back to the black livery. Im a ford fanatic all the way, and i hope Ford goes on to win WRC 2012, good luck guys

  • i think everyone will agree with me when i say following:

there is nothing new in citroen winning wrc

lancia once retired completely from wrc, because there was nothing new in lancia winning.

citroen should do the same. may ford put an end to their rain of tyranny and kick loeb back to alsace

  • So glad that Ford are staying in for 2012, LIKE for Petter Solberg to be WORLD CHAMPION!

  • good

  • Brilliant video!

  • Yes.Good news.FORDDDDDDDD

  • great news

  • TIME TO BE CHAMPIONS, GOOOOO!!! FORD

  • Great stuff! Was great experience watching ford and the boys here in Australia can't wait to see you back here 2013

  • ** Latvala WR Champion in 2012 **

  • Mikko going to citroen and petter coming to ford 2012 should be a fun season :) I love wrc

  • gooooo ford

  • Yeah American Crap would fall apart in rally Europian ford is better Hopefully Latvala snd solberg will give us Brits A manfactuer win

  • @TifosiAlonso yes solberg drives with Ford the next Season. I read it @ Motorsport total.com.

  • ford, why don't we get a real american car into wrc. mustang maybe? chop off the back end make the front shorter and give it rally spec performance.

  • @Inklebonker1 I agree it would be cool but its impossible due to the 1.6 liter turbo engines regulation.

  • @SilverSurfer102 It doesn't have to have its 5 liter, im just tired of not seeing a strong american presence in the motorsports world. Outside of corvette racing in ALMS.

  • @Inklebonker1 - A heavy Mustang competing in the WRC would just lose to other cars all the time.

  • @DZoneMotorsportTV obviously you would need make it light just like every other race car.

  • @Inklebonker1 - And even then, it still wouldn't fit into the legal weight.

  • @DZoneMotorsportTV I dont know why you think that because obviously if you remove most of the essential street legal comfort items; rear seats dashboard insulation floor covers etc. And replace the remaining parts with carbon fibre and titanium it will sure fit the category limits. The boss 302 weighs around 3600lbs, the rs wrc fiesta weighs around 2600lbs. And if it still doesn't fit then you can modify the body to make it smaller.

  • @Inklebonker1- Most of that weight reduction would probably bring the the Mustang down to about 2900lbs which is good, but not light enough. I honestly think that the Mustang would be more suited on the circuit but the majority of cars being used in the racing world today are hatchbacks and it seems that these days, hatchbacks are more suited for racing than sedans.

  • @DZoneMotorsportTV Which is why i said make the car smaller. Reduce the wheelbase, chop the trunk, anything. I would just like to see a true american car in WRC if not the mustang then the chevy sonic.

  • @Inklebonker1 - If they chopped the trunk, then people would complain that it looks nothing like the production model and WRC rules say that the production chassis must be used.

  • @DZoneMotorsportTV Empty the trunk, remove the hinges that allow it to swing and weld it shut. If the whole car has been constructed (legally according to wrc regulation) from ultralight materials like carbon fibre, aluminum and titanium, and then deleting all components south of the driver and passenger seat; rear seats, ac, etc. then having the motor size reduced to a 2 liter turbo flat4 with an aluminum block it will be considerably lighter.

  • @Inklebonker1

I hope this is a joke.... if its not then you dont have much knowledge of the WRC do you?

  • YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

  • Well done Ford, keep up the great work for the WRC 2012 and see you in 2012 Wales Rally GB. Good Luck Ford

  • where is Mikko going?

  • @touge242 Citroen

Estoy muy feliz con la continuidad del Ford en el WrC, Enhorabuena, Ecelente, Animo y suerte !!

  • Seems like Petter's luck is FINALLY turning! Im so happy to hear this news!

  • thank god you've given petter the drive in the other car. the championship NEEDS drivers like him!

lets hope ford can be stronger and kick citroen more often but don't discount the mini!

    have a great 2012!

  • Wonder where Hirvonens going

  • @someguygamer

He left Ford to join Citroen... His logic is if you can't beat 'em, join 'em

  • @KoMDraegast

Not exactly! His contract was not extended and so he had to change the team.

But great Ford! Keep up the good work! Petter or Jar-Matti will win the championship 2012 for sure!=)

  • @Luni223

Well if it ain't his, it's my logic as to why he left Ford..Ford is the home of the Finns not that stinking french make...

  • @KoMDraegast This is true

  • Excellent! 2012 will be the most exciting and most watched WRC season ever!

  • Yeeeessssss!!!

  • I am so happy for petter :')

  • Great stuff guys,, Very best of luck :)
