Took this down at BR 16 very easily(X-box version). The key is to match deadlocking with healing unions. If you only have 1 union with "recover your health" then only send in 1 unit and have the rest stand by. If 2 unions can "recover your health" send in 2. Once you figure out the technique of fighting monsters that multi-deadlock it's really easy to beat them.

I know how this sounds but I just beat him at BR 16. It took 13 minutes because my damage was so bad. The only thing I could do was "Hang in there" not even a unique arte.

Does it have any specfic weaknesses? like mystic rather than combat?

My battle lvl is 12 but i have the upgraded flamberge sword and wind shear III is that enough to kill the bird even with 3 unions?

On PC I could see him as soon as I entered blackdale. Went round and slaughtered him at BR68.

Hah, finally beat this sucker. I was br 35 and just used 4 unions of 3 each, let two of them draw off the curse and just kept smacking it.

beat him at 37 with 12 people on the field, 2 unions died and just head the 6 leaders in one group left , beat him finally =D , easier to spot on the computer version of the game since you can see his spawn point on zone in

god i overleveled because i was looking for that fcking bluejaws in the cave,, hunting that hydra made me go to BR 21.. i took this bird on BR21 and this bird always uses his aoe skills when he gets to critical hp >.>

Best way to start off is to only attack with one union, and let the others stand by. That way only 1 union will get cursed and that union might even resist it if you are lucky. One way to ensure that only 1 union gets cursed is to let Dominator surprise attack you.

Map is not that big, just walk towards the other end, he's a big bird you can't miss him if he spawned. That in mind it took me over an hour to find him. At BR40 on my second run with a good party set up I had absolutely no trouble with him once curse wore off.

No side-quests, you don't have to fight the jade golem

It's in Blackdale. Check the end of the video, the after battle screen. See the gold number in the upper right-hand corner? That's my Battle Level, which happened to be 37. As you saw, I struggled with him at that, so once your gold number is around 40 or higher, you should do fine.
