blood sacrifice does not mean a death for the participant...it doesnt even mean blood itself...it can be other bodily fluids...of course...it does not mean it isnt harmful to people.

I've definitly been thinking the ceremony has to do with blood sacrifice. This only proves my theory. Crowley was known for blood rituals.
