I remember this movie i watched it in Toronto when they showed it on channel 40, it is a very good movie, i liked it, i believe the story takes place in the Spain after the Civil War of 1936-1939, right? maybe even after the second World War?,
@MarijaMilenkovic I'll try to help you. It is a "Villancico:" a Spanish traditional Christmas song. I cannot find the singer in this movie; but the music was put together for the film by Jose Nieto. The song is called La Marimorena, or sometimes "Ande, ande, ande La Marimorena." There is speculation about what/who Marimorena is; but, Mar means sea, and Morena means black/dark-skinned. Google in Spanish for more. May I ask, what country are you from? Enjoy!
Waheed reply to your graceful comment. Thank you for posting this unforgettable clip. I had it on computer, but lost it in a crash. I have a VHS on order. Maribel played a super super witch in "El Beso del Sueno" with a few violent scenes. She had a beautiful comic sexy juvenile role in "La Estanquera de Vallegas. I think she was in her early teen years when she played in that. I'll continue in another post
@colbert2422 Waheed reply continued And of course, Maribel played a beautiful young woman having a last sexy fling that was revealed at the end to had a to have had terminal illness as a motivating factor. The movie "Jimmy Hollywood" had a role billed as Victoria Abril that looked so much like Maribel that I thought it was her. If it was Victoria she made that movie worth seeing.
One of the most intense scenes ever filmed. Matibel Verdu stole this film from Victoria Abril, who herself is another one of the greatest actresses in the history of stage and film. Incredibly, Netflix does not offer this unforgettable film.
@colbert2422 I am very pleased to know someone feels the same way about this film. No one had any clips of it on youtube. Would you suggest a few films with Victoria Abril? Though she played such witch here, it is hard to see her any other way! Cheers!

Saludos!

@WaleedRahman Thanks, I found something like that, but it is not the same version. I'm from Serbia.

@WaleedRahman - marimorena (Maria Morena) refers to the Virgen Mary, the darkskinned virgen Mary.
