Don't get me wrong...Tim was very unique...wrote amazing songs...but the mans personal issues and drug use made it almost impossible to sing like Mr. Perry. I just saw him in town not just two months ago and he was amazing....simply amazing. Plus it really is silly to compare the two. so I do stand corrected.
das stück von brendan perry ist grandios, die ausgewählten filmbilder sind schön und passen, wenn doch nur der film auch so wäre. leider ist er es nicht! besonders die verwendete filmmusik ist grottig...hätte man doch nur herrn perry gefragt...
I sure hope that Sir Brendan gives us more to listen to soon, in the form of a disc that has at least 10 cuts if not more. Mr. Buckley may not have had Brendon's vox or style but he sure did write some beautiful songs. Thank you for posting and THANK YOU Brendan for the emotional drugs!
@SeattleCat64 what? :D Brendan's vocals?? :DDD Buckley :DD Don't make me laugh my socks off. Brendan is good. But Buckley is incomparable in the means of being one of the greatest vocalist ever born! ~_~

I heard this live at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles back in 1999.
I guess it was during the time Eye of the Hunter was released.

It is probably "Swept from the Sea", a 1997 movie with Rachel Weisz.

Wow, Denis, this is truly sublime.
I wish the entire White Sessions with Brendan would be released. I am still a huge admirer of Brendan's solo work.
