Anyway if you want further proof of the standing of these look no further than the Little Feat Rock and Roll Doctor clip on here and at point 2:12 - you will see it is being used as pre-amp to pair of Fender Deluxes...
It's worth every nickel. Costs about 75US$, runs on batteries, but they last forever. (You can use a wallwart, but those tend to make it hum.) Get one, you won't regret it.
Frank Zappa loved these little amps. He used one on a "Merv Griffin Show" appearance in the '70s. I think he played "Zoot Allures" on the show that day.
