  • C.J. is sexy.

  • "He likes that work you did.. with that girls' group with the stupid name."

  • That is a rather staggering pay cut.

  • And meanwhile all I can think about are the papers sitting there soaking and sinking in the water. LOL

  • 0.38 - 0.50

C.J's hair turns from curly to straight, everyone wondered why, and here's how it happened :D

  • @McNeeProductions In the flashbacks in the "Debate Camp" episode, CJ also had curly hair. Those flashbacks were set in the very first days of the Bartlet Administration. So it would appear that between January 1999 and September 1999 (when the Pilot takes place) she stopped having her hair curled.

  • I like how all the characters want to know if Jed Bartlet "is a good man" before they sign on...

  • @aussiejed1 In a later episode it was revealed that John Hoynes seduced CJ for a one night stand several years prior to the 1998 campaign. An incident she profoundly regretted. So I'm assuming that's why she'd want to know if Bartlet was "a good man" - or was he a womanizer like Hoynes.

  • I think that the music in this scene is some of the prettiest in the series.

  • "They said you were fired. Were you stealing things?" ROTFLMAO!!!

  • I really wish they had explained how they knew each other in the first place. That sort of invalidates the whole plot revelation point of a flashback.

  • @starwarsgeek8 In a later episode it was revealed that CJ worked for Toby when Toby managed the campaign of a Democratic Senate candidate in New York prior to the 1998 Bartlet campaign. Toby said that because of CJ, the candidate came close to winning despite being far behind when the campaign began. Knowing CJ's commitment to female candidates, I'm assuming that the candidate was female. Rikki Rafferty, perhaps?

  • @observer9670 Really? What episode? Shame on me, I watch this show religiously.

  • @starwarsgeek8 CJ talked to Toby about her one-night stand with Hoynes in the episode "Full Disclosure". Toby told an interviewer about how CJ worked for him in a New York Senate race prior to the first Bartlet For America campaign in the mockumentary episode "Access", one of only two WW episodes shot on videotape (the other was "The Debate").

  • @observer9670 Cool, thanks

  • I wonder how many takes they had to do for this scene. Did Allison have to dry off, change clothes, and fall into the pool several times before they got it right?

  • @TheUnknown285 i don't know but her face as she falls...:)))))

  • I love Toby. "CJ, you fell into the pool there." Lol, no really?!?!!?!

  • They said you were fired. Were you stealing things?

  • Her expression as she falls...priceless.
