I fly my HBFP in the snow all the time and i havent had a problem yet if you are really concerned you can go to a hardware store and buy this stuff called liquid tape and brush it onto your electronics :D have fun
thats not true u can better start with that sort and that isnt an 3d only cp heli's like the king2 are 3d heli's this is if i am right an fp so not an 3d heli and perfect for an starter
You must love flying backwards. My favourite part is your know landing at 3.56, lucky for you it was snowing :-) 5.12 was funny as well, your best landing to date lol.
the blade cp was my first heli of any kind and the one I learned to fly on, shit if you can fly that thing good without error then you will be able to fly any r/c heli,
Hi.. Ist ein tolles Video und ich bewunder einfach nur die Ausdauer.. "Aushalten ..Durchhalten..Maul halten.." Say´s an old German Lancer ;-).. crashe gerade selbst andauernd meinen Heli.... :-(.. Habe arg gelacht bei dem Vid..Thanks from good old Germany..
ouch so sorry to see man, helicopters suck when they crash, not like an airplane crash and go...
question did the deep snow help at all with the crash? like soften the blow so it saved parts? and were you able to just straighten the blades and keep going?
oh and the yellow bird is it a E-sky Belt CP or is it an E-flite Blade CP
listen to what i SAID! i said they are a "ripoff" compared to walkera, esky and copter x! .. ripoff, meaning way overpriced!!! not that it is "rubbish" as you say. don't twist the meaning of what people say. the spectrum radio is good, but you can put that to any heli!
if you are willing to wait a week or so and save lots of money.. all replacement parts can be ordered for all the other cheaper helis that are of better quality. the value, what you get for the money, with eflite, compared to walkera, esky and copter x is no comparison. walkera, esky and copter x has a much greater value.
It depends what you hit, and how hard. But yes, they were inexpensive helicopters I purchased for the purpose of learning. It wouldn't have been very wise for me to learn on a more expensive helicopter.
Regardless, it still gets pricy replacing parts on the cheaper helicopters when things do break (they are not unbreakable), especially since there isn't a local HS.
Mate, thanks for sharing, helping bring back disturbing yet funny memories for fellow pilots. I would really like to see a clip of your latest flights.
Yeah you are right. I didn't even know a helicopter could fly correctly till I got my Trex - well worth it. Blade CP Pro kinda sucks - it can be upgraded but it's still a lot of work to even get it in to a hover and keep it there. The Trex if set up properly will hover hands-off - just awaiting for your next command :)
yeah the blade cp is a tough heli to fly but if you learn on a blade you can fly anything and the blade is really easy to work on but the parts are pretty expensive for a small chopper.
Havent heard that song in a long time! Now I see you are Canadian so I see the connection. On The Loose was their best song. How is snow as a crash landing surface? I think it would be excellent and forgiving as long as it was soft powder. Most excellent except for the moisture.
those balls are training gear the provide more stability during flying and the great reduce damage they can be bought at the same place where you bought your copter
they do not increase the stability of the helicopter, the helicopter is not designed to carry that training kit, but it does make landings much much easier.
Keep it up you are doing good. I'm learning and i'm getting there . I'm a real pilot ( planes) and I do have a little comment for you . Everytime you start making a turn (plane or heli) the nose wants to pitch down . Anticipate that dive before you turn it will help you . Break a blade!
i have the same experience, i have purchased at least five heli and still haven't had it up in the air every first flight crash and break, n it's really pain not only in the pocket but frustrating too.
Very well done, I just lost my T-REX to a train so I know how it feels to crash and lose one but you didn't seem to ever do alot of damage to your heli's
It's amazing the things we go through to learn how to fly heli's. Very nice of you to share your pain with us. I most enjoyed the heli's disappearing in the snow. I will not be able to enjoy that in Georgia. Thanks for sharing the video and keep up the good work.
I spend a lot of time on the simulator and I'm flying a lot better now (see my latest videos). I've only been flying/crasing since Oct 06. Most of those crashes were in the first few months while learning, they are much less common now.
for a beginner you'r doing verry well!! i had some electric ones before.. they are all dead :P now i got one on gas! i give you some tips, when you doing well with those electric ones.. keep them, but buy one on gas. alot more fun! only really expencieve.. another ti[ is to buy some 'superkids' that is a metal frame for the electric ones. than you hit the ground with 45 mph without defects! good luck and practice alot men! you got talent i know it
I was sitting her screaming "NO!" "OUCH!" "OOOOOO" That was a good flick! I am right there with you on those crashes. My Cp is down needing servos right now. I know what you went through. I'm keeping tabs on your progress though. Your doing great!
I have so much money that i don't care when i crash haha i wish

I like the progress in your video :)

It's a Blade CP

110% for persistance. you realy need a t-rex 450 with good gyro, you have the ability to fly a good heli.

A better heli would do you justice. The blade cp and cpp are really hard to fly. Especially for a beginner. Try the Blade 400.

Album: On The Loose
I think from 1981 or 1982. In my opinion it was the best CD they released.
Just contact me and I'll send you a copy of the CD...I think it's out of print.

If you are a beginner you should start with the balde CX or just use the simulation.
If you are practicing like this guy you should keep it in one spot without moving it anywhere and it will make it easyer to fly over time.
