dude dont ever hide behind the flanger or phaser or whatever..... you obiously know the song, keep it raw acoustic... ever acually see the movie greatexpectations...... i cant even find that recording on you ube. keep it raw and thanks for the chords i was a little lode cuz i was playing in an alternate tuning and compesating
This is excellent! I've loved this song since hearing it all those years ago, but I could never find a decent tab for it either. I was actually expecting to hate this, but I was pleasantly surprised.
I also think the phasers are a nice touch because somewhat conceals the fact that it's only one guitar here, whereas the actual song seems to have several layered.
good cover, but listening to it by ear myself i definitely here differences. one easily correctable one is the part when you go from F#minor to B minor and then to A, which sounds off. your right in that there's an A, but its not the whole chord, so just take your finger off of the B note when playing the B minor and hit the open A string. and idk how to play it but your also missing my favorite chord during "i know all your graces". overall superb job though, taught me a lot
PERFECTO! awesome, amazing, beautiful, the best sunshower cover i ever seen man, but why don't you sing? such a shame you didn't.. your guitar sounds really beautiful, seguí adelante que lo hacés excelente!
HAHA i never knew someone would ever cover this nor did i know this would ever be released. chris wrote this for my sister and i at bad otis' house(next door to us in index, washington). the first verse is me, second both of us, third my sister, and then the rest is about both of us. i'm getting to see him live in november and i'm going to scream "SWEET SUNSHOWER!" until my throat bleeds so he'll sing it ;)
good job. I only see three spots that I do differently. First, when going to A after the Bb in the intro and verses, I also slide the D string to 3rd fret along w/ the B string( 0 3 2 3 0 x). Second, in the chorus, instead of going to Amaj from the Bm, I kinda blend the two..there's a name for it (Bm/A perhaps), (0 3 4 4 0 x). Last, at the end of the chorus I go from D to Eb7, (3 2 3 1 x x), then G chord w/ open high E to G7, followed by the Bb/G chord, finally to A7 to end the chorus.
