Growing up in CA and being half Native people make fun of me becuase of who i am and I am one of the only people who identify myself as native. I often feel alone but i know my people are out there

We are NOT invisible anymore...not as long as we have people like me...going to DC every year....fighting for our TREATY RIGHTS...and the young ones need to step up - and replace us old ones who carry on the tradition of "fighting for our Treaty Rights"!!! Yes - I am from a Treaty Tribe and have been fighting for the last 22 years...I hope the younger ones educate themselves and carry on the fight...forever!!!

Mixed bloods generations away from true Indians are the invisible Indians of the invisible Indians. I may be a few generations from a non-registered Indian grandmother... but I still honor her and want to be true to that native heritage. I still agree with many of the feelings of the true bloods.

Tho happy to see my Mexica people in this vid, I was disappointed to not see the flag of my grandma's Yaqui people. Even the U. S. gov't "recognizes", a portion of the Yaquis. I also wish you had let the images on screen longer: I had to keep stopping the vid to be able to see who's flag was being shown, & to see the other images. But, over all, it is a very worthwhile vid, serving the interests of our peoples. Hell, even spellcheck doesn't recognize Yaquis, it marks the name as incorrect!

Thanks for posting this. Thanks for including my Mexica(aka Mexican) people. We're REALLY invisible. I think, probably MOST of the rest of the indigenous people of the U. S. don't even realize that we are, at least, as indigenous to our homeland--including the U. S. part of it, no less than the rest of it--as the average "Indian" is. When are our own peoples going to put this colossal blunder of Columbus to rest, it's part of the reason that Mexica are not seen by people looking for "Indians".
