this was the first record i bought in 1967 7shillings and 4 pence bought it out of my paper round wage of 10 shillings 50 p for delivering 94 papers the summer of love 1967 was called and it was great year

I was a teenager ( 14) in 1967 when it got to No2 in charts - amazing. Have since rediscovered it, and think its about the giving up of childhood , fantasy & innocence..what I was going through.
