  • Cant wait to try it.

  • hy im brazilian leave in london and i have to say your techniques really works , and im improve my jiu jitsu further watch you videos thank you very much ,, you are great teacher ,,,,,,,,

  • @carlaojiujitsu oss, thank you kindly sir

  • @kenprimo

hey, How does this work as most people base wide when standing or drive one leg deep forward? Any tips on adapting it or should i just transition to rubber guard or de la riva?

  • looks so easy maybe works in white belts, have you ever compete? do you have any video of competition?

  • @orion4105 yes, look up my name, purple belt world champion cbjj masters, naga blackbelt adult, pan am brown belt adult gold, you?

  • ken, your videos are great. Ignore all of the haters. It's rare that you find someone that not only understands BJJ, but also knows how to teach it clearly....especially in a video. Keep up the good work.

  • @thedarknight83 thank you sir

  • Shit, I'm at a gym with 2 black belts, and its new to us, thanks bro.

  • my god everyone seems to say something like oh its not new or ur opponent can do this n that. theres a counter to everything people chill out!

  • New for me and do not have many options when the oponents stand up so I will give it a try.

  • I'm gonna try this, but it looks to me that there's an opportunity for your opponent to get a mount right after his palms hit the ground, if he slides his knees through....Then again, I'm still a white belt.

  • Regardless if its new or not, its new to me and I'm eager to try it, thank you.

  • we call that the irish rapist

  • he's a purple belt and has done this to a 250 pound black belt.

  • my homie does one that's better than this. instead of closing behind the legs he keeps tight on your hips, and naturally you want to come into him and flatten him because his guard is open. he has grips on both of your arms, then as you lean into him he throws your arms above his head and your weight falls forward, he uses the legs on your hips to keep you elevated above him, and the he sucks the arms back in/does backward summersault. lands in mount. so badass.

  • @Moo206 The way your expalining it, its a complete different technique then whats explained in the video so making a comparison is irrelevant.

  • @19thaman79 i guess when i said "better than this" was stupid because yea they're different techniques that can be applied for different scenarios. my bad.

  • after watching plenty of these videos alot of these moves depend on the reaction of the other person and the skill level, if you do upload more videos please show them with resistance because all your showing is the simplicity of the move and not someone actually fighting back.

    cheers

  • Congratulations, black belt you know so much. Thanks

  • Sweet move Ken. Thank you. Please keep them coming.

  • nice simple sweep. thanks

  • Lol @ all of the internet warriors on youtube.

  • nice but not new at all It was shown on the master series 2 of mario sperry like 8 years ago ,he show it with murilo bustamante

  • it was new the day i put it up, bjj is not new, i know this, i have made NO moves up.

  • good stuff. Thanks.

  • I'll second that. This sweep is far from being new and has been around for quite some time.

  • Beautifully simple!

  • or just sweep backwards with the Left leg 1:34 while maintaining hook on opponents Right Foot sweeping it backwards and arching hip forward to create a kneebar. I teach this to students all the time.

  • Sorry, but this is anything but new. I saw this MANY years ago. Its called the "snow angel sweep". And just a few years ago, I saw Pedro Sauer do this as well. So this is not new and should just be changed to "open guard sweep" or something of that sort.

  • It was new the day I put it up, lol. I hope you are okay.

  • Shut up grumpy dwarf.

  • it's new indeed! maybe for a white belt LoL

  • ohhhhhh got em!

  • or just mount him. Jiu jitsu I swear. YOu guys should get into wrestling

  • a good bjj guy probably would not allow that. side is the better option it's there so he took it efficiency is the key.(probably pull half guard or something)

  • I'd rather respect myself in the morning rather than having to wear a one-sy in public.

Hell, I put my little girl in those things.

  • those arent one-sys dumbfuck.

  • That's what they look like. Sorry you're so sensitive about that.

  • their both wearing gi's...i dont get it.

  • Wrestling people don't wear gis....they were onesies.

    Or singlets...or tights.

Whatever they call those ridiculous things.

  • You sure showed him.

  • Nice sweep Ken

  • look good technique but with some one like me i'm hopeing u do some ting like that so i can ankle crank it

  • how would u do that if he is controlling your sleeves

  • i was thinking the same thing in class, if that would work, but i was never sure .thanks for clarifying!

  • I think you could mount him from there after the turn.. what do you think?

  • Duh Was typing when you did the mount hahaha

  • Awesome!this is a beautiful technique for people like myself who hate playing spider guard. cheers Ken!
