the o rings around the brackets and wire keep changing from a clear colour to a cloudy yellow colour, i dont drink any tea or coffee, how can i get that clear again??

@sultanaTW iam getting my clear braces put on this coming monday and Ive been reassured that their is no elastic or o rings with my braces, apperantly its a new technology

I have on these braces, and I find it stain every time after I drink soda or anything. It stains very badly especially consuming alcohol.

i have them for 10 months now and they're in pretty good shape ( i actually changed 2 brackets on upper and 6 brackets on lower teeth couple of months ago) but there are few stains that bother me and the glue on clear braces is desperate, i always have at least one bracket that falls off :/ hope that soda wont do them harm

I'd like to get invisalign, but if it's not possible then i'll get the clear bracket braces. They don't look very visible. I just don't want to get the silver braces. At my school all these kids get the silver brackets and put colours on them but I don't think it looks very nice.

Nothing is wrong with having Hydrogen Peroxide in your mouth. It used to be a popular method (and still is) to having fresh breath. It kinda taste like that Listerine Whitening mouth wash.

I am getting clear braces next monday. I am excited I have been wanting braces since I was a kid but my parents could never afford them. Someone asked how much they cost for me it was around 5000 and i had to pay 250 extra for the clear brackets.

why need to pull out some teeth before putting braces?

Because the teeth are usually too crowded. They remove some so that the gaps are filled eventually after wearing the braces have paid off. The dentist will keep tightening them until the gaps are filled.

i got them 2 months ago, but they became yellowish pretty fast and i couldn't do anything =( until wait till they change the rubber, so i told them to get me colored rubbers so they won't become yello, Plus! they looked Super cool!

i got rainbow colors each one's a color ;)

Yep, that's what i said too, i didn't want ppl to notice them, but after i've had them now i don't care and actually i think i look awesome with colored braces, so maybe same thing will happen to u haha.

Yeah I got them on today and you can hardly see them. I can put colours on if I want and I will in the summer but grad pictures are coming up then there is graduation so after that I will.

@arizonaaaeliie wait until you get braces.for me it was 2 weeks of hell,the cuts on the lip,the teeth are a pain,you can BARELY chew hard food. I ended up eating soup for alot of days.But after a few weeks you barely notice them

Never use Hydrogen peroxide, the 3% stuff in the brown bottle, wow bad idea! no matter what anyone says, it is sooo bad for your teeth and gums. hydrogen peroxide will dissolve your gums after one use, don't belive me try it, and brush the next day, your gums will be coming out in chunks. eew.

my orthodintist changes my o-rings once every 8 weeks...is this normal???

no matter how much i brush, they stain after 4 weeks...not a pretty sight!

Dont use hydrogen proxide evry day...use it atleast once a week or 2 times a week. any way. but no more than that

and baking soda whitens your teeth also, therefor you are likely to have discoloured teeth when your braces are removed.

this is very deceptive. Baking soda dissolves the fluoride based orthodontic glue. It's not a good idea to brush with baking soda unless you want your brackets falling off. Peroxide can also eat away at gums and cause lacerations in the mouth.
