Since when has Michigan been known for fast linebackers? They've actually been known to have big and slow linebackers and thats what kills them year in and year out. They're even notorious for having slow db's as well. If you need an example of that then just look at how Leon Hall couldn't keep up with Ted Ginn. Do you watch college football? Scarlet and White? really? 3-3-5..3 linemen, 3 linebackers, and FIVE db's..yea that'll work out? Beanie Wells will eat someone..
And if the personnel stays committed, there's a good shot that we can slow down the Buckeye offense. Hell, maybe we'll be playing Brandon Harrison or Stevie Brown in the box a good amount, who knows. All I know is that Rich Rod isn't stupid and he knows what he's going, so I'm going to put my faith in him as a fan, and defend and support him as a coach. He made it work in other places, hopefully he can do it here.

Michigan LBs are all about speed, always have been, always will be. Now, I understand that power can get dominate speed, but a lot of times speed can beat power. Then you bring in all the DBs with speed, our defense is going to be fast and be able to swarm to the ball. It could definitely work with the right personel

I agree with SluggerDude. Chris Wells will have a field day against Penn State's defense. He may rush for 200 yards.
