That's the problem when you rely to much on your one punch knock out ability, you forget that this is "mixed martials arts". You must know how to defend against the take down and/or learn to defend off your back. That's why straight strikers are not successful in the UFC... Your not knocking out a Koscheck, when he knows he can dictate the fight on the ground. lol nice try...

Junior Dos Santos, Shane Carwin, Anderson Silva, Mauricio Shogun, Lyoto Machida, Chuck Liddell, Rampage, Frankie Edgar, the list goes on and on. Strikers do great in the UFC, it's refusing to accept wrestling as a back up discipline that creates the flaws.
