@Pabloincarnate i agrre demon's crest for the snes is really one of a kind man when the heck is capcom going to re-release this underated masterpiece on the wii virtual console so far they already re-release gargoyle's quest on the nintendo 3ds virtual console which gargoyle's quest as you may already know is the first instalment of the demon's crest games demon's crest for the snes was supoused to called gargoyle's quest 3 acroding from the HVGN review of the gargoyle's quest trilogy

Really a great game. I had beat it for many time, however I never saw a password for the secret level. I saw three endings, but anyway at the last of so called "good" (don't know why people called it in that way, it is pretty doubtful) there was an inscription "Presented by Capcom" and a blue stone. I waited for more than 15 minutes, but it was no password for secret level. Am I did something wrong?

Back when l was like 6 years old, l beat Phalanx and got the bad ending and thought l had beaten the whole game... l was so proud of myself too... l have lots of work to do now that l'm 18, lol. l'll have to set it up and play it until l get all the endings. =) Wow, this will be a nostalgic experience.

l didn't get the best ending when l was six. l beat the game and got the "bad" ending. However, back then l didn't even know there were multiple endings, so l just thought l beat it. Although l was always curious why because l didn't get a chance to find the other crests and didn't go to many levels.

To this day, l've never gotten anything better than the bad ending... which is why l'm digging my SNES out from the closet and working on it now that l'm 18, lol.

I would personally love to see a fourth game in the Demon series, even if it was in 3D.

Namco X Capcom is on the PS2 in Japan only. I guess you could import it if you want.

You can find SVC Chaos, which is also a fighting game, on the original Xbox. In Europe, it was also released on the PS2, if you prefer that.

Demon's Crest is Firebrands third game. His first two were Gargoyles Quest, on the original gameboy, and Gargoyles Quest 2, on the NES.

Archaeln, I totally agree with you. This is one of those games that just can't be forgtten. Although, I'd rather it on the 360 because I don't have a ps3.

And Alucard300, well, that depends. On one hand, alot of people who like this game would enjoy an attempt at a sequel in 3-D, it's only natural. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure we've all learned that most games that start in 2-D don't do all that well in 3-D(coughSonictheHedgehogcough­), so you bring up a good point.

You know, I got to thinking. The reason Ghosts 'n Goblins didn't get a game in a long time was because the guy in charge of that series, Tokuro Fujiwara, left Capcom. He came back, and made Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins almost immediately. Since he came back, do you think he might make a sequel to this? Artificialraven, if I may your opinion, too?

Honestly I don't know if we'll ever see another game from the Demon series. A remake for the DS or something(thats also doubtful) but I think the chance of seeing a brand new Demon game, with a fresh plot is close to nil. Thats to bad, I like these games. Also all of the above is just my opinion, I'm not basing it on facts, rumors or anything else.

And if another game did happen, that's probably what it would be, since Ultimate was a remake of the original G 'n G. Still, there's always the hope for a new plot, and while I'm probably gonna be disappointed, that's good enough for me.
