This must have been approved by the flight crew. She had real demo / safety equipment.  So, that makes it funny. If she was doing this without permission, it's a huge FAA violation , for a passenger to be standing in the aisle after the aircraft door is closed. When FARs (fed. air regulations) are violated, each flight attendant and the captain can be fined by the FAA.

I was on a plane once and the flight attendant went mad at a couple who were talking through this demonstration....he hit the alarm, called a halt to it, and really made them look ridiculous, I mentioned to him that he was taking his job far too seriously and he looked like he was enjoying being a bully.....I got a round of applause then everyone else heckled him for the rest of the demo!!

I was travelling to Amsterdam via KLM and my 8 year son stood up during the safety demonstration and they forced him to go back to his seat until it was all over! Why would you be passed out in a plane crash? The only reason would be due to a loss in cabin pressure and if the pilot did not do an emergency descent for some reason. That's a tiny percentage of crashes. I can only think of one accident where that happened. Look up Helios flight 522. For most crashes, the passengers are fully aware the plane is going down.

Secondly, assuming the plane is still intact and flyable (and in 99% of cabin pressure issues, it is), all the pilots have to do is drop from about 40,000 feet to about 10-15,000 feet. Once they are at that lower altitude, they can fly for as long as is required.
