WOW, this is so wonderful! This is such an amazing representation of the Holy Tabrenacle! Would you please allow me to use this for my school project on Tabernacle? What was the smoke over the tabernacle?

Hi There. The smoke seen in this animation is the sweet incense offered which ascended over the curtain and filled the next compartment with a sweet smell. In essence, the smell counteracted the odour left behind by the blood that was sprinkled on the horns of that same altar. Symbolically speaking, the incense represents our prayers offered to God mingled with Christ's righteousness which alone is acceptable to God and is the only way the Father can hear our prayers. I hope it's clear for you.

@carinaaus Have you ever read the Bible where Christ would appear as a column of smoke and a column of fire and would descend upon the tabernacle? And when the column moved, the Israelies were to pack up and follow it until it stopped again?

@garythedog the old testament sanctuary and its service was a replica of the one in heaven. when you understand the earthly one you can understand the heavenly one.

and it is very Christian, since Christ is in the most holy place as we speak. in the holy place, he was interceding for us and covering our sins, in the most holy place he is still interceding but rather than covering our sins he is blotting out our sins.

Thankyou for the work you have done on the Sancturary.

You might be interested to know that the alter of insence has two rings and is positioned on the diagonal Ex 30:4, pointing North east etc.

I would love to see what else you can do with the detail and how it relates to the gospel. starting from where the sinner enters the cort yard through Christ bringing his offering. Tethers the lamb to the alter and leans on the lamb, transfering his sin to the lamb and through the blood to the san etc.
