Can you explain what happened. I have a minimum and cannot understand what went wrong that caused you to switch off engine at such a dangerous stage. Where is this.?
This is in Germany, Laucha. The problem was that the minimum unit - fixed on a hinge to make steering up down possible - was sticking on keel tube. so i was fixed in position fully back and had no change to bring me forward, to steer down. Just the pitch safed my life Iife after I switched off the prop.

How often has this happened over the years with the minimum unit. It is the first I have heard of. Did the the keel rest slip.
