About pulling out the weavile, you made the right choice. That salamence was C-scarfed, and the reason the Gengar did so much damage was because he was C-spec'd. GG Blayze

Don't know if it's been said yet...but...
When your Weavile did Swords Dance, it gained +2 atk. With the burn (-1), Weavile's atk is still a hefty +1. When Mence came out, that puts you back a neutral. If Weavile had Ice Punch, you should have stayed in and used it.

umm with weavil yes you had burn and intimidate but you had swords dance that those all cancel eachother out so you still could kill salamence
