i got my hornet fixed, cost me £312 but money well spent, not a problem now :D
i ended up doing this to mine and taking it off, sounds wicked but doesn't move lol so im planning on getting a link pipe made so i can fit my silencer onto it :D hopefully shall sound mean but run a little quicker than without silencer :P
@maxweston1 What colour is the smoke coming from the exhaust.? if it's white it's condensation and the cause maybe your head gaskets...if it's black smoke it's burning oil and petrol and maybe your piston rings.! when i bought mine it blew out white condensation, the head gasket was gone, so i put another engine in altogether..the prob with it not been idle maybe it's burning petrol and oil, get that much checked out hope that helps..
@sdoowynot hi thanks for the reply! the smoke is not thick at all, and it's white mainly, and slightly grey when revved to like high revs, but then when it warms up it's all gone again :S
the plugs do foul though! (got iridium plugs and they do better, but one time it flooded and they did fould but were fine after..) hope it's not bad to be honest! :(

i have a hrnet 250 but once it's warm it won't idle, and smokes quite a lot, how did you get yours to idle so well, even without the silencer..?
can u give me any advice from when you had it and what could be the issue why it won't idle when warm..? thanks
