they need to make a megaman triology where it can explain the whole story of mega man and megaman x together because theres that unexplained gap inbetween what had happen in their universe. how and why does mega man go straight to mega man x plus what happen to wily, bass, and proto man along with roll and rush. I mean ninentdo has gotta do a better job of explaining the timeline of mega man than just fight 8 bosses and then a final boss with 2-3 forms.

The Zero virus was made by Wily, it's used to draw out Zero's full power and keep him evil, otherwise with his free will he might resist Wily. As for Wily himself, it is hinted in the Megaman X games that he might somehow still be alive, despite the series happening about a century later.
