Attending an Arlington Burial is an honour and an experience that I will never forget. My brother was buried there last year with full military honours.
just last year i had to fold the flag on my own twins grave.NEVER FORGET THOSE WHO CAUSE UNREST FOR OUR ENEMIES SO U MAY SLEEP AT NIGHT.I FEAR NO EVIL BECAUSE I AM EVIL ITSELF.R.I.P
the rifle was picked up against Spain in 1898, the soldier fell, a Doughboy found that rifle in 1914, he fell, the rifle was picked up in 1941, the soldier fell, the rifle was picked up and passed on in 1950, Korea, passed on in 1960, Vietnam, passed on again in 1983, Grenada, and again in 1989 Panama, again in 1990 in the Persian Gulf, once again in 1995 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and yet again in 2001 Afghanistan and in 2003 in Iraq.
In 1776 a soldier fell leaving his rifle behind, the rifle was picked up by a soldier in 1798 during the Franco - American war, he fell, the rifle was picked up by a soldier in 1801 during the Barbary Wars, he fell, the rifle was picked up during the War of 1812, that soldier fell, the rifle was picked up in 1836 for Texas Independence, the soldier fell, the rifle was picked up in 1846 against Mexico, the soldier fell, In 1861 it was split into two, the soldiers fell, the rifle was made whole
This bring me to tears. My Uncle was a Vietnam veteran. No was there to present the flag to my Aunt. Except me. I was in uniform that day. I managed to hold back the tears. The bible says, " no greater sacrifice hath a man than to lay down his life for a friend. " And that is what he did. God bless our nation's men and women. For protecting our freedoms
this was touching. I have only folded the colors once and that was in my senior year of high school. Me and one my teachers did it. I was like so nervous. God bless and thank you so much for your service to our country.
Let us pray all of our MIAs are brought home and honored in such a manner. My father, WWII Naval aviator, Navy Cross recipient, will be laid to rest at Arlington on July 1. Your video is lovely. Thank you.
Great job on the part of the marines. But I felt that the way the Navy officer stood, walked, and held himself was a little...too casual and informal for a funeral.
I know your heart is in the right spot with the music, but you should really remove it. It takes away the reverence of the ceremony which is essential. Do you have a version w/o music?
Thanks for your review. Good point, silence may be better at flag presentation. As you can see, my editing skills need work, but we got a few good bits I think.
This is a hero's funeral. In the British army, you would not get such a honour. The coffins will be in the back of a hurse in blocked traffic for hours. To be honest it is a disgrace they die for their country and get a low cost funeral, something a pauper would get. You guy's sure know how to honour
Looked like they folded the flag incorrectly.

I never understand why do people wear sunglasses during a burial... Is it shameful to shed tears for a loved one?
