There is a reason Risberg did not want to talk about it...He was guilty about what he had done and regretted it....If he was innocent, he would've been trying to clear his name. Just look at what Bucky Weaver did for most of his life. Does not mean he was a bad man the rest of his life...He died at 81 and the scandal happened when he was in his 20's...People can change alot over 60 years.

Sorry Mrs. Risberg, but that is not true at all. You Father in law cheated the game, and although it had happened before and after, the Sox were made an example. The thing that Risberg should have been embarrassed about was that he got CAUGHT.
