The lack of video during the initial sketch would lead me to believe that you've traced the outlines. Pretty good shading otherwise. Also, even if it's just a very simple one - a background always gives the drawing so much more character.

I love how people say u copy it and u can buy tracings of cars and other stuff but to do the shading that this man/women does is amazing I do drawings of guns and other military equipment and I'm working on my shadings hopefully I will have a video of my guns soon

poor drawing. I visited your site and there's no single car that was correct, if u see what i mean. The messures are not correct and there is also a lot of copying, copying by the means of a picture of a car that u draw over it to hide the real picture.

While I like your abilities and potential skills, I think 7-8 hours is too long. In the Pro world this is perhaps just over 1-half hour rendering. I know you're not a professional designer yet... so for you, maybe try 3-4hours. Trust me, I do this for a living.

what is wrong with some people on youtube, commenting saying stuff like "anyone can do that, didn't even draw it your self", and "traced it" this guy has quite obviously got a massive amount of talent and he should be praised for that talent not slated and criticised because he's using a reference picture. For every1's info, he had pre sketched the car to how he wanted it, could have took him couple of hours for all we know, (who wants to sit and watch that) then he shadded it all in and added all the little details while he was filming

Traced it, Used a projector or free hand... It's still some great pencil work. I myself love working with Pencils, Charcoal pencils. My fav is Pastel pencils and pastels

I'm a professional designer and I even re learned things I had forgotten over time. It's an excellent book that can bring up your skill from any level.

I do not know Thom and this post is only intended to help the kid, not sell Thom's book.
