In my opinion Garth Brooks would never have reached stardom if it wasn't for the big arena shows he did. In a way he took country to the next level, but as a singer he's quite mediocre. (Is that right spelled...)

I watched this when it aired, George Jones really lit up when Garth Brooks hit the stage and it shows. George really has deep respect for Garth Brooks.

I agree. You can tell Garth Brooks has a deep appreciation and respect for George Jones. Garth Brooks is the next best, just because Garth has respect for all people and it shows when you see him interacting with his fans and the public. Garth never forgot his roots and where he came from.
