They shouldn't ban MK, but M2K really should consider using another character and developing ITS metagame if it really is him behind all this OP'ness.

Or...one of the character heros needs to step it up. Especially in the MK matchup, first of all.

In one tourney(+friendlys at tourney) M2Ks Snake did better vs. Azens DDD than Ally did.

Against m2k . . . A Melee player picking up a character who's metagame has basically been stalled since January managed to hold his own for a while against the best Brawl player in the world.

This might be the 1,000th time someone has said this, but M2K would have serious trouble playing brawl if he couldn't use Meta Knight.

My friend choco heard him say he'd stop playing if Meta was banned.

I've seen him use DDD once, but it was to counter Reflex (Wario) so he could CG him off the stage to death or to CG him into a wall; bullshit. They played on PSM or DF.

Saying no johns in a Meta Knight game is just being a dick. "No johns, play Snake, MK, or Falco scrub or STFU"

Everybody playing Meta should REALLY be playing Marth in the first place.

If people are so comfortable with the fighting style of Meta Knight, they should do well enough with Marth WITHOUT the absurd advantages that break the game.

However, if Meta got banned 80% of Meta mainers would main Snake, DDD, Falco or quit.The fundamentally more skilled Meta Knight players would switch to Marth.

but Meta Knight has disadvantages playing the rest of the Brawl roster like Spider Man would playing for the Lakers.

Character preference is up to players.

Metagames are developed by top players, as youtube provides a medium for copying in Brawl.

That's why it's easy to pick up top tier characters.

But lower tier characters still have a chance. Look at how Chu Dat did with Kirby and he hardly even played Brawl from what I could see. It's all mindgames. People who get stuck using broken tactics get stuck in predictable patterns.
