  • wtf?? This is a very dumb question probably, but is he being sarcastic?? the end made absolutely no sense with the original point it seemed like he was trying to make. Either he's an idiot or I am.. I'm not sure so maybe its me

  • Alas, they neglect to mention that when one is at a higher risk for schizophrenia, weed can bring closer the onset of it. Clearly biased presentation; and by, quite honestly, the group that annoys me most. People who think drugs are good for you. Sure this might be true, but doing a small amount of amphetamines will improve your performance, as well as caffeine. Doesn't mean I should do crystal meth and 2 monsters every morning. Really, grow up.

  • i suffer from schizophrenia and when i tired smoking weed it brought out my schizophrenia... u need to get your facts straight... although some people with that mental illness can still smoke it but others it dose more worse then good... its illegal because it alters your perception hence you cant drive or work with any other auto vehicle

  • The thing they dont tell you is that the moment you stop you are back to zero. So better not to have fake abilities

  • i love it..

  • Why do people have to eggaderate marijuana as being a cure for just about everything? I mean come on, its as hard of a drug as an ice cold beer.

  • Get off your butt and go workout. !

  • marijuana helped cure my schizophrenia!! i was diagnosed and would be left to my own accord until i was socially unacceptable by my docters as this is what typically happens. because of this i had to act like a psychopath, living a double life as i could see what i was doing different and how i should act in society. due to the stress of this i starting smoking weed, eventually the weed made me ignore the voices i was hearing and they eventually went away, even now after quitting weed years ago.

  • I'm a diagnosed Schizophrenic and when I smoke Marijuana I can't control myself at all. Most things are funny, everything is enhanced and I can see, feel, and hear things other people can't.

  • Marijuana does NOT cause schizophrenia. It kills cancer cells and prevents them from reproducing, and schizophrenia patients will benefit from it. The only people who make these claims that marijuana is harmful and causes mental illness are those who are against it and have to create terrible arguments against marijuana when really there is not one good, rational, single argument as to how marijuana is not medicine (it is and has been proven over and over) and is harmful, its non-toxic.

  • Weed is counter-productive, that's all there is to it. Most potheads I've met don't even want to work or have a family just smoke that crap 2 or 3 times a day. Also the fact that it's a herb doesn't make it harmless. Uva ursi comes from a herb and has been used to sooth even cure urinary tract infections, but too much consumption of it will cause liver damage.

  • if u hate cannabis,,you love cancer,,,i know you conned dumbed down conditioned flat earthers hate that kind of talk, whilst you drown yourselves in government sponsored alcohol poison,,tough.Go blame the con artists,,not the cannabis culture

  • if ur scared of cannabis, you are basically a flat earther,,an if your a flat earther in 2011,your a fucking disgrace!

  • Did anyone complaining here ACTUALLY WATCH THE VIDEO? It says Marijuanna users HELPED Schizophrenia, not hurt it. Before you bitch and moan, why not spend all of 1 minute and 18 seconds to watch it !!

  • What is this music?

  • weed actually makes u smarter by fostering neurological pathway development....LoL

    SUCK ON THAT!

  • I'm rather getting sick of pot smokers. They are getting quite pompous about how "not bad" weed is for you; acting all moral high ground since it's not as bad.

Deep down they know there's got to be catch, otherwise they wouldn't try so hard to validate it. 80 years ago everyone thought tobacco was fine and now I get dirty look if I chew a cigar in public.

People need confess to their self destructive behavior. Break down like something even though you know the consequences.

  • @Menuki so where are these deaths then ???????? 80 yrs? this damn plants been used alot longer ,,,wheres the fukin deaths?????? get out of here with your moronic non sensical bullshit

  • @martynjhorne Inhaling smoke, wood, chemical, any carbonization damage lung tissue. That's it, firefighters, coal miners and Hookah smokers especially because of the intensity of their inhalation.

Because of the villification of weed, how many people openly admit the extent of weed use to their doctors? As usage become more accepted, we may see what conditions are really associated with it.

I'll smoke my poison, but i'm not gonna be endorsing its insect repelling abilities

  • @Menuki bizzare,,,u cud vaporise and eliminate all the scary worries ? uh oh,,or eat it? its this obsession that we should all demonise ourselves if we enjoy cannabis,,,who puts this constant mindstate onto us? i personally am not playing the game,,i enjoy cannabis ,,the poisonous chemicals in my food are a much bigger threat to my health and yours i absolutely guarantee

  • @Menuki your sick of pot smokers because you bought into a con,an rather than admit this plants benifits,,you would rather stick to your conditioning,,,try breaking that conditioning,,you are allowed to un learn the lies you have been fed

  • @martynjhorne In a strange irony the reason I never smoked marijuana was because I was a dealer and thought it best to separate business and pleasure. The business end killed the allure for me. I'm often offered and politely decline, the part that annoys me is when pot smokers start trying to elevate their drug as a holy cure-all recreation.

I love my cigars. I'm well aware nicotine isn't a drug, it's pure poison. So why can't pot smokers reserve possible harm, afraid?

  • @Menuki its my opinion that the level of demonisation of this plant by all these governments is basically them telling us the opposite of what it is,,,it promotes cancer cell death,,,thats 1 thing right there that tells me this plant is meant for human use,,and lets not forget,,natural cannabinoids are found in the human body,,the only other place cannabinoids are produced are in the cannabis plant,,theres alot more info, personally im not buying into the conditioning by these authorities

  • Weed makes you stupid and lazy and is a waste of time. It Fs up your judgement. This video is lame.

  • I would also like to add that about a year ago I worked with someone (age26) who smoked weed everyday since he was 14. Now, I am starting to believe he may have had schizophrenia. Some of the symptoms of schizo are difficulty sleeping (most of the time he would show up saying he had not slept all day, difficulty concentrating, Lack of emotion (i've only seen him express anger), Hearing or seeing things that are not there (sometimes he would think I said something when I didn't),He had these sym

  • @GhostGrind Schizophrenia is when a person has a disassociation with reality. Insomnia, anger problems and thinking he heard you say something are not indicative of the illness.

I should know. I have schizophrenia and I smoke weed. I've had schizophrenia far before I started smoking and the weed has not exacerbated it.

  • @GrowTheTruth Thank you for your mature response. I thought I was going to be cursed out or bashed. Weed does kill brain cell just like beer, but unlike beer it effects the part of your brain that has to do with memory. Hence why most potsmokers you meet can't remember their name.

At 25 years of age I'm proud to say I've never touched the stuff and I live a productive healthy life.

  • @GhostGrind Well, to be honest, science hasn't found that the weed kills braincells. Rather they believe that the act of holding the smoke in and the lack of oxygen may kill some. Really no more than pro swimmers who often hold their breath in water.

Well, I can remember my name. In fact, I can honestly say that I've grown in intellectual capacity since smoking weed. I can't say if there's any correlation, but I can certainly say weed hasn't seemed to have negatively affected my intelligence.

  • @GhostGrind most pot smokers cant remember their name? who on this fuckin earth are you trying to con?

  • @GhostGrind youve never touched the stuff,,,,theres plenty of more harmful things going into your body that u arent even aware of yet u fear cannabis,,utter insanity.

  • @martynjhorne What harmful stuff is going into my body? I don't smoke weed or use drugs. I don't eat fast food too often either.

  • Your channel username is "crappyblabla"...How can i belive this....

  • Use of marijuana has been linked with significantly increased probability of developing psychosis and schizophrenia. This link has been documented in over 30 different scientific studies over the past 20 years. Those who were heavy consumers of cannabis at age 18 were over 600% more likely to be diagnosed with schizophrenia.Experts estimate that between 8% and 13% of all schizophrenia cases are linked to marijunause during teen years

  • @howedelamitri do your research folks. Plenty of studies say otherwise. Whatever drugs you want to do, at least make an informed decision and know the risks

  • @howedelamitri You clearly don't understand the concept of cause and effect at all. Over 25% of Schizophrenics smoke weed, that is true. However, over 80% of Schizophrenics smoke tobacco, so either tobacco causes Schizophrenia at a higher rate, or it a relationship between smoking and schizophrenia, not cannabis. This is proved by looking at the rate of cannabis use and the schizophrenia rate. 400% increase in weed use since the 70's and no increase in the rate of schizophrenia. So, you're wrong.

  • @SgtPepperEverton doubt it, nicotine is acetylcholine-nicotinic receptor not directly on the dopamine chain, cb 1/2 is global dysregulation. youre an acid idiot.

  • @gen6k I'm an acid idiot? Please try to learn to speak coherently, i understand English is your second language.

  • @SgtPepperEverton ur stupider than i thought u barely have a clue what im talking about. u dumb pseudo-statistical pothead just makes some people more retarded.

  • @howedelamitri sources?

  • @howedelamitri lie peddling filth,,,the truth is these demons are only sponsored to look for harms,,when they find something positive ,they say nothing,,when they cant find anything to demonise ,they dramatise and increase their stats ,like with climate change,,con artsists conditioning the brains of good citizens

  • That is because the marijuana users also neglected to take their medicine.

  • If we wanted to READ we would just READ BOOKS. Why can't these videos speak to us?!?!

  • im a functioning skitzo (compared to a disorganized skitzo) and every doctor ive talked to has told me to keep smoking pot i was at one point told to cut back and to try other methods of consuming pot but thats because i was smoking alot and inhailing smoke is bad, i can comprehend that . so i am evidence that pot works for skitzos it just has to be regulated just like any other med, just the type of pot can make a huge difference

  • who let the hippies loose on youtube?

  • Drugs are bad mmkay

  • nothing wrong with bit of a smoke

  • Marijuana gives people Schizophrenia - or does it - who's at my door???

  • lol - deluded

  • Weed helps people with a lot of stuff;

but drugs, alcohol and cigarette smoking kill them.

  • (2/2) I now have a fantastic boyfriend,a 48-hour a week job making a good salary, regained my relationship with my family and reconnected with friends. I don't take any other medication and have NEVER in my life been happier or have had more stability. I owe this transformation to marijuana for opening me up enough to allow this change. :)

Marijuana is not for everyone, but it did wonders for me and I would recommend people talk with their doctor to see how it works for them.

  • Yes this is true. I have a brother with shcizophrenia. The pharma drugs were making his sick and lifeless. His life is so much better on pot. He is happy and functions well. He's an artist, Could not paint one picture on the meds. Now he is painting beautiful pictures again. Thanks to cannabis!

  • (1/2) I'm schizophrenic and I smoke marijuana. Best fucking decision of my life!

For 6 months, I locked myself in my house and did nothing. I had a horribly quick temper, hated socializing with people, couldn't sleep and suffered from paranoia.

I slowly started to smoke weed at the suggestion of a friend. It began to improve my social skills (a difficulty for those with schizophrenia), stabilized my mood, eliminated my temper (it is completely gone), calmed my paranoia and helped me sleep.

  • @GrowTheTruth Thats great for you...for real. All those things that you just named that you said Pot helps actually gets magnified 10x worse for me when I smoke. Especially the Paranoia...Unberable. It definatley triggers something panic associated/negative thoughts

  • @tren979797 Yes. It isn't for everyone. Marijuana can either help or hinder a person based upon the way they work. It works for me, but I can't say it works for everyone.

  • @tren979797 Of course I cannot remark on your subjective state, but your comment describing anxiety with pot suggests that you may have real-world matters to attend to which you want to repress. Maybe the pot brings those subconscious issues--ones you'd rather ignore and not think about--into your awareness, perhaps problems you need to work on. Anyway, good luck to you.

  • @GrowTheTruth good for you :)

  • I will vote NO!

  • you dont want it for medical reasons, you want it to sit on the couch and be the fat gorilla you trully are you pot head :P just sayin...

  • @RightNowization oooh i haaaate you ,you want to get "high" off pot,,,ohhhh the tyranny, ooh the evil,,,,ohhhhhhh my god ,,not the cannabis user ,i mean noooooooo,,the cannabis user wants to get stoned,,,,dammmmmmnnnn, this really personally offends me!!!!!!!!! the anti cannabis lot are the most weirdest psychotic hysterical bunch i have ever heard

  • i fricken agree with this i was high funtioning marijuana user before i quit the stuff and started schizoafffective life is a conspiracy

  • i love how this video proves that marijuana is actually really good for you

  • If i smoke too much (like more than an eighth ounce within a couple weeks) I get a "psychotic break". It happened twice, had to be put in the psych ward both times.

  • @sorwoggpm =Lucky you! If someone had called the cops you would be still be rotting in jail now, unless of course you ratted out your supplier in which case you would be working for the feds to put more whackos away. In any case, watch out , because there are more and more whackos going to jail than psych wards, mainly because of more and more private prisons.

  • @ThePaganpat Why would I be in jail? Well I guess if i was visibly stoned and had weed on me while I was acting crazy. But the craziness set in about a week after I stopped smoking in each instance.

What's the deal, Pat, you have something against weed?

  • @ThePaganpat Oh and the cops were called on me, but I wasn't stoned and didn't have weed on me, so they let me go.

  • thank you so much for this video! I am the living proof and I totally agree with you. I am labelled schizoaffective, but marijuana actually helps me to cope and also, I learned that marijuana also helps people who suffer from Crohn's disease. It isn't a drug, it's a herb. Thanks to Mother Nature! Legalize!!!!!!

  • we are always going to argue about the pros and cons about marijuana and marijuana users. opinions never get us anywhere...

  • i love you.

  • I always wonder why I constantly hear how pot is the greatest thing since sliced bread, it cures/fixes/reverses everything bad known to man, and does all these amazing things, BUT, do you ever see anybody who's a true pot head who's really going anywhere? Most of them barely get by and have TONS of problems in almost every facet of their life. I wonder why that is?

  • @drtyfknmouth what? that's the stupidest assumption i have ever heard.

  • @drtyfknmouth which came first, the problems or the heavy cannabis use? Causation is difficult to assess. Research is showing components in weed actually shrink cancerous tumors. To answer your question, I know MANY true potheads who hold down very successful jobs or are retired from them. I also know a few dysfunctional potheads and many people between the two extremes. It is not a cure all and it's probably not right for every 13 year old but we certainly shouldn't be compounding people's pro

  • @blueshinai problems by assessing them with heavy fines and jail sentences. We must take cannabis cases to jury trial and we must get on juries and aquit. fija dot org for more info on our rights as citizen jurors to protect our fellows from unjust laws.

  • @drtyfknmouth Actually there are many successful individuals who smoke, they just don't feel the need to broadcast their MJ use. One very successful and pro cannabis advocate is Peter B. Lewis the founder of Progressive Insurance.

  • @jerseygrl5 The exception? or the rule?

  • @drtyfknmouth Since it's still illegal and most successful people are intimidated to 'come out of the closet' I guess we'll never know, will we?

  • @jerseygrl5 Yeah, you could say that. Of course you could say a lot of things.

  • People that think pot will benefit you have a mental illness

  • @imdb2004 you bizarre utter cretin,,,you do realise that saying something so blatantly false in 2011 deserves the label of flat earther.....you have been conned and it kills you to hear cannabis mentioned positively,,if u hate the conflict of the truth grating against your anti cannabis brainwashing, dont blame the cannabis culture or people using it,,,blame your lieing rule setters

  • Comment removed

  • @martynjhorne You are an Idoit! Just because a loser hippy life yourself told you pot was good for you doesn't mean it is! Weed is good for one thing, hemp! Not to smoke you stupid little man.. I'll bet you're a Libertard eh?? Libertard idiot..so dumb...hey eating M&M's cures cancer...you believe that too...stupid idiot libertard

  • @imdb2004 Marijuana may or may not cure cancer. But we all know FROM EXPERIENCE

u can smoke pound, after pound, after pound, after POUND. And still have NOTHING wrong with you. Can you smoke pounds of tobacco and survive? no, not even close. Can you drink gallons of alcohol without suffering liver damage or death? no, not even close. Weed makes you happy, personally stops my anxiety in any form, and allows me to think clearly. Any three of those is more than enough for a PLANT to be legal.

  • @Felderos I can agree with some of that...if you smoke enough weed tho something will happen to your lungs in the end.. i just can't help but to think all the positive talk was created so people can get high all the time.

  • @imdb2004 But we can get around smoking it with vaporizors, and or edible forms. Marijuana is fucking awesome u dont just have to smoke it. It NEEDS to be legal.

  • @imdb2004

Why do people always assume people are looking for excuses to smoke all the time? Does everyone that drinks alcohol do it everyday because it is legal? The idea of a 'pot head' seems to be great government propaganda, as if there are not a large majority of professionals, athletes, academics who want to do it on a casual basis, hell they already are. The general public needs to get their heads out of the gutter and get some perspective.

  • @petecabrina I don't think its a government propaganda..I see stoners almost every day and they are proud to be stoned! In fact they call themselves "potheads" so what, are they the minority? Look dude, I'm not here to fight with you over this..Ive learned in a mental health course that pot can let to mental problems so I thought I'd do a little looking around for my self and came across this. I had my own experiences with weed back in the day and I can't say I liked it!

  • I am not here to argue neither, I just suggest you do some real research and look at the statistics before making broad generalizations. Cannabis can cause mental health problems, generally in adolescents but there is nothing to prove it is a direct cause, it is likely a combination of things. Alcohol kills your body and causes all kinds of social problems, tobacco kills and you wonder why people think there is injustice here? Of course it does not suit everyone no different than many things.

  • @imdb2004 just research what your being "told",,,,at some point a giant penny will drop.

  • @imdb2004 you have bought into a con,,,real cannabis experts marvel at this plant,,,the conned ones find anything they can to turn away from the info....go an get mad ,,but not at the experts,,go an get mad at the ones who demonised it whilst only having monetary and political interests at heart,,,im human,,,the libertard wateva wateva talk is all theatre ,a rigged game,,so those little liberal, con tags mean less than zero in reality

  • @martynjhorne I think pot should be legalized, and taxed like there's no tomorrow. I'm a liberal as well. I'd rather see people who would be doing this foolish act anyway paying for it and helping our country. I still think pot is stupid and I'm tired of hearing about it. I broke up with my ex because she was smoking pot and lied about it. I have almost never seen pot lead to good things. But hey, if someone's going to be foolish enough to do it, that's their problem now.

  • anyone who thinks cannabis causes schizo i hope lord shiva comes down from the Himalayas and smashes your skull in with a giant boulder

  • I have been schizo since 94 and I find that this video is telling the truth spot on, everyone whom I have smoke pot with says I am doing better. To all the naysayers who say I am lying through my teeth can kiss my crazy ass. You all just want to dictate others so you can have a foothold on the socalled truth that you believe in order to project your ego above people like me. Man I need a joint to get over how pissed I am at the phoneys.

  • im schizo and i belived pot caused an early on set of it i bug out when i even smell pot it defffff does NOT help people it does make it worse. i feel like i have to run and hide whenever i smell pot

  • I started smoking weed and it took about 2 and a half years before I became a miserable paranoid schizophrenic! It really sucks and if I could change the fact that I ever touched weed, I would. The story of my life is that everybody hates me because I'm paranoid and they all seek to fuck with me for their own amusement/power trip by exploiting what I've told them I'm paranoid about and that either I'm so crazy that I voice my thoughts without realizing it or they're being broadcast somehow.

  • @GreenJokerToker i think they laugh at you even you don't started to smoke.so stfu,if you're stupid marijuana wont make you smarter.stupid is cureless

  • @Richings "They laugh at you even you don't started to smoke"

    "Stupid is cureless"

  • @GreenJokerToker I regognize myself here..this is not schizoprhenic...its because youre lonely and the defence mechanism in your brain reacts to that. people who fuck with you are just low lives who has very/no confidence. life is how YOU make it.

  • no to some it effects more then others....just forexample initially a little quantity cn make u high but with time u need more n more...but the panic attack cn happen whenever ur brain fails to get its signals right n u get busted...

  • I smoke pot and get straight A's in college as a computer science major. Fuck all haters of the good herb.

  • for 27 years of my life i was clean no drugs no cigs then i started smoking marlboro n becos i had satrted smoking cigratte i gave marijuana a try n wat i get paranoia...dont smoke pot maybe it doesnt effect all but it sure caused me paranoia...

  • @TheAlishahsyed you smoked too much... it's that simple.

  • To hate anything, is to hate yourself.

  • people who smoke weed got better scores? wow..it really is true...get high, get high scores

  • This is sick!!!!! How about marijuna can bring on cannibis unduced psychosis, or how about using marijuna does not enhance brain function, but eventually long term use can effect short term memory - whoever made this video should check their facts research what they are talking about before putting this on public display...grow up!!!!!

  • @Camerotas1 If you want anyone to take you seriously your going have to show us medical research to back up you claims about how bad marijuana is. Otherwise, GTFO ----->

  • @Camerotas1 Marijuana Myths Marijuana Facts: A Review Of The Scientific Evidence , written by Lynn Zimmer PHD , and John P. Morgan MD .

this book will shed some light on the fear mongering DEA propaganda you have been fed , by referencing real scientific studies , not government sponsored snow-jobs .

  • @Camerotas1 He just cited a whole slew of world renowned universities, medical institutions, and the research theyve procured, and youre going to blow it off just like that? Marijuana does nothing you mentioned, what it does do is it stimulates brain cells and the formation of brain cells in the hippocampus portion of the temporal lobe, positively effecting ones learning, memory and emotions/mood. In regards to health it has MANY benefits, of which I can get into further detail if need be.

  • Look, all of these arguments are just fine and convenient, but it all comes down to abuse, not use. Use it in moderation. I would suggest once a week on the weekend perhaps, and the highs will be safe and more enjoyable.

  • Comment removed

  • to me what i personally think about it, its not schizophrenia, but its just opening my mind to a degree where i get very considerate of others thoughts (making me think and thinking very well and how i can solve this problem "if" it occurs).

so when worries comes in, you will "always" know how to handle it.

and i thank cannabis for that very reason is how it helps me solve problems "if" i assume something would occur.

  • continuing from first comment*

for instance, i made up a story about a hero named michael (no need for story details) and my moms new bf just so happens to be named michael as well.

if he hears me talking about that story while i was in my room alone, i didnt wanted him to think otherwise (this is where my assumption and worries comes in play)

therefore, i ask him if he did heard anything

then i would explain so he doesnt think otherwise

    he understands

    its all kool then.

  • i do get very sketched out to a certain extent.

for say, the smallest things i do, my mind gets into focus mode : therefore i create assumptions as if "am i offending this person? i want to make things straight so in their mind, they dont think otherwise". then that causes me to worry lol!!

so yes it is possible. when you are a very considerate person, smallest things matters and worries you.

    *continue.

  • ya try not taking your medicine and then smoking and watch how much it worses the voices in your head

  • im deaned schyzo and im a marijuanna ritualist i obey all the laws i dont smoke and drive smoke and work im just an avid gamer that wastes all his money im not realy schyzo . but since i decided to tell the doctors my life story . now their affraid i would want revenge so im stuck on medication for the rest of my life . and why.... because im a victom of violence.

  • Do any of y'all with schizophrenia have a family history of mental illness? Family history is a factor that does not seem to be present in these arguments. Not agreeing or disagreeing just trying to include another side to the debate. My half brother has schizophrenia also. His grandfather was mentally ill and never touched the stuff, so maybe theres more to it than just pot.

  • The study that first found that marijuana caused schizophrenia was later found to have drawn the wrong conclusion and that in fact many people had been self medicating themselves with marijuana and had already been showing signs of schizophrenia.

  • it helps schiz. but every now or then you might have a bad trip , usauly when home alone at night

  • People who don't believe this info should read about the clinical trial performed by Leweke et al. comparing CBD with atypical antipsychotic amisulpiride, presented at the European Psychiatry 17th EPA congress. Mind you, the psychiatric medicinal effects are caused by CBD not THC (actually THC does quite the opposite), therefore people intending to use this as medicine should use plants that are past their time for harvest, where THC has been degraded and there is a higher percentage of CBD.

  • This is total bullshit, I smoked weed for nearly 10 years and one day I started hearing voices and having out of body experiences, shiit the same night I went to sleep started seeing my body like looking at it through a microscope, could see all the blood cells and veins.. shit is not funny got schizophrenia now, so please stop encouraging people to do this crap cos it will fuck up your life, dont lie to ppl and say it dosent cause mental problems.

  • I am schizophrenic & I smoke grass, It help's me focus it really works. So all you crap head's saying it cause's schizophrenia can shove it.

  • @ManicArtist86 I dunno man maby your scihzoprenia isnt that bad then, I am a scizophrienic and ive done serious harm to indivuials high on marijuana.

  • @BlitzClub If a person is an aggressive person that doesnt mean that MJ helped you do harm to others... I mean that even an every day hastle like for example you were in extreme traffic at peak time can make an angry person aggrevated and lose control resulting to harming someone... Its all about the person, the little details in every ones lifes and the way he is brought up that makes the difference

  • @ManicArtist86 I to am schizophrenic. I deal with three voices telling me to do some pretty wicked things. Pot helps slow my thought process to i level I understand. I also observe that I tend to be more socialable.

  • @ManicArtist86 i'm a schizophrenic to....so tell me how did weed help you?

  • @dunker015 You have to realize the difference between cannabis sativa strains and cannabis indica strains. Sativas contains a higher content of THC, and indicas contain a higher content of CBD. CBD is an anti-psychotic drug that negates the psychotomimetic effects that THC may induce in people with genetic liabilities. However, there's not enough CBD in sativa strains, so sativa probably wouldn't treat schizophrenia. CBD does, though.

  • @zekdom

    Keep the beacon lit.

To anyone reading this with concerns regarding this topic, I urge you to tread softly and don't abuse the medication. Less is more and don't smoke, if you can vaporize. Also, approach it with a clear conscience.

If you approach it with panic and fear, it is more likely to induce negative effects like paranoia. It's a neutral spirit. It is the ultimate "yaysayer." Place the placebo in the hands of hope and the results could be miraculous.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrCannatopia You're exactly right, it's not something to be abused. According to the Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics Journal 2007, vaporization significantly reduces the carbon monoxide content. Even the Institute of Medicine, back in 1999, agreed that another form of cannabinoid delivery should replace the smoking of cannabis. Well, vaporization and Sativex is here! :) Also, that's an interesting hypothesis, since the "placebo" effect could be a confounding factor.

  • @ManicArtist86 I know it's a trigger of schizophrenia.

  • @DMMPELLETIER it made my sons mind feel better though, when his psychiatric medications were being withheld from him.

  • @ManicArtist86 im sorry bro, it's just because my aunt she smoked ALOT of weed in her youth, and i think that triggered a psykosis, not giving her it, just triggering it.

  • @ManicArtist86 The voices tell me me to agree.

  • yea my teacher is making us write this paper on how it "gives" people schizophrenia. I say its not true at all! I nor does anyone living or deceast in my family suffer from schizophrenia. and my family are daily pot smokers for more than 20-30 years each. I myself been smoking for 15 years and I'm completly fine and no sign of changing schizo.

    Read up GLENN

  • @ladyjpratt my teacher taught us that pot smokers like to lie and say marijuana is not addictive, so someone who does smoke said thats bullSh... and we all laughed at him. if i knew what i know today i would have supported him

  • @doublexnchuck your comment is 100% right, I smoked the stuff for 10 years and took me over 2 years to quit, this video is total crap anyway, says it helps ppl with Schizophrenia, when in fact it caused my Schizophrenia, I know its addictive since I have a friend who smoked it longer than me every day, and whenever he tried to quit he starts shaking and sweating, he cant sleep, goes into a depression and basically turns into a vegetable, he cant live a normal life without the stuff.

  • @Christopher1987uk its only MENTALLY addictive if you have an addictive personality/you smoke way too much. and IMO if you smoke it everyday you will most likely have problems, REGULATION IS KEY TO EVERYTHING. i bet if you and your friend only smoked once a week you wouldnt have these problems. i have ADD and it worked wonders. better than any of the prescription "medicaton" ive been fed for 8 years.

  • @doublexnchuck dude thats bullshit me and my friend smoked like 6 bowls a day for a year and one day we just said lets give it a rest for a lil while...here i am 4 months later it just takes self control, though if i had a joint right now i would so smoke it

  • @RandyRhodesFan420 that's good you don't have an addictive personality like I stated in my comment.

  • I Agree. Great video
