  • ARNEL "pinhead" is a macabre master of darkness that was brought forth to send us into a JOURNEY OF TORMENT! Jeff Soto was better than Arnel. But he was cheap, and he was CONTROLLABLE. That is one really bad thing about Neil Schon....NO FRONTMAN CAN BE THE BANDS ID OR HAVE ANY SAY SO.It was a famous lawsuit with Perry and Augeri. Their voices are fine! They got paid MILLIONS not to sing. It was so Schon could scrap Jouney 2 aka Bad English and go back to the original name. The things I know.....

  • Gaaaaaaaahh, I'm going to go see Steve in Tahoe (CA) in October... I can't wait. I miss hearing his beautiful voice.

  • steve is a gifted man..nice voice. Arnel will NEVER EVER replace the two Steves of journey...

  • Wow, good band

  • @alcoyot Dude listen to River Rise with augeiri and tall stories that fucking ROX!

  • To everyone out there, steve is still a class act guy and has a huge heart, big voice and never lost it, heard his new cd,

love it i would go see him before i see the journey of today, saw them and was very disappointed, band is still good, arnel has to go back to his band the zoo.

coming from a musician himself. arnel is not the right match . big error on neals part. wants to make himself sound better then the lead singer, typical neal, we are still all for you steve augeri.

  • well your comment would make more sence to me if journey wasnt selling out every concert and grossed over triple in the last 3 years than what they ever made with perry or augerie. I love both perry and augerie but i have to disagree in you saying that arnel sucks. he isnt as good as the origionals ill give you that but he is a lot better than you give him credit for... coming from one musician to another

  • @bobbytric4 When they put the band back together to tour, did they even consider Steve A. Just curious, Or did they and Steve wasn't interested?

  • way to go

  • arnel U ROCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • I was disappointed to see that they let Augeri go. No disrespect to Arnel, I just kind of thought that they had a singer to build with. I really liked 'Arrival', and thought that not only would they be able to do the Perry-era songs, but develop new material with Augeri. Oh well...live and let live.

  • augeri had somehting go wrong with his voice for a while. i think it was leringitus and they didnt think he would recover from it. thats why they let him go

  • @mgmmcdowell Augeri had a severe throat infection. There was even talk that near the end of his run with Journey he was lip syncing. I hope that isn't true because I REALLY liked Arrival...especially "Higher Place". I Saw Perry live, Augeri Live, JSS live, and Arnel live...no question Perry was the best....but Arnel has got power and stage presence. He was an easy number 2 choice. It's really a shame though that everyone else is merely copying Perry's sound...oh well...Rock On!

  • What does this guy: 18rabrfc73 Just copy and paste his comment everywhere? I've seen it like 7 times now....lol

  • because im awsome.

  • This song is freakin' AWESOME! just had to listen to it like 7 times...lol

The new Tall Stories album- (Skyscraper) rocks as well there's not much AOR on the cd, but still very rocking!

  • I really liked Steve Augeri. Not only did he do justice to Perry's songs but he also brought songwriting dynamics into the mix as well. He wasn't just a sound alike, the band seemed to actually musically grow. I liked the harder edge that many of the songs took on. While I mean no disrespect to Arnel, it bothers me that the band seemas to just forget everything that Steve A. did. None of the Augeri material is performed anymore, and it seems like they're just rehashing the Perry era.

  • I don't know if you listened to Journey's new album, but Arnel did Faith in the Heartland (which is a Steve Augeri song). So that proves that they are not just copying the Steve Perry era. While they do do more Steve Perry songs than Steve Augeri songs, that is only because most of Journey's hits came from Steve Perry. And Journey is still musically growing. If you listen to some of the songs on the album, they kept some of the harder edge and kind of mixed it with Steve Perry type songs.

  • @18rabrfc73 I hate that, too. All you ever hear is '70s and '80s Journey. I've never heard anything from 1996 (Trial by Fire) onwards on any radio station ever.

  • Why does it seem this guy antijourney has to insult the present journey, anytime he can. Im sure this clown has no talent but to blow. This is a steve augeri video . cant you leave it at that STEVE AUGERI.

  • So what album could I get this song from, I have Tall Stories but dunno what else they have?

  • yeah and the best thing is Augeri is still rockin'! I would rather listen to him then Arnel anyday!

  • wow im the first to comment!!!!

  • what a douche.....
