This is a SURE PATH to smaller government! No politician should EVER sign off on anything they haven't read themselves. Kind of like no adult should ever sign a contract without reading it first - I mean - WHO signs a legal document they haven't read, what would you call them? A FOOL.
Eric...part of the point is to keep these things down to an acceptable size. There is so much fluff and pork in there, that they need to be kept succinct.
Maybe the reason they are so big is because the people submitting them don't WANT anyone to actually know whats in them.
