  • You think that train is long? 62 cars in 2minutes and 4 seconds? Well isn't that too bad you have to wait 2 minutes for such a short train to go by. When I was kid, they were over 200 cars long and took almost 10 mintues to pass.

  • When was this video taken?

  • Early August, 2008

  • Its funny because ive always wanted to see a gulford locomotive but i have never seen one even no i live in massachetts

  • It depends on where you live in Massachusetts. PanAm (Guilford's) main line comes into MA from NH in Haverhill, follows the Haverhill MBTA Line to Lowell Jct in Andover. Then goes through Tewksbury to Lowell to Chelmsford to Westford to Ayer then out along the old Fitchburg main line to the Hossac Tunnel. Through North Adams then into VT on it's way to Troy, NY its western termanis. They use the Lowell MBTA Line to go between Lowell & Somerville.

  • are u related to the connolys with the white house. or do u no sum1 with the name meaghan. or are u over big es house

  • hmm, I have been stuck many a time in Tewksbury, coming off of rt 93 - near the Market Basket Warehouse... the train usually seems to come by at some late hour of the night! I like the sound, though. THanks for posting this.

  • Nicely done! Long Live Guilford/Pan Am!

  • Thanks! Coming from you that is indeed a complement. Next time, I will try and get closer to the crossing and get the engine numbers for you.

  • Cool. 8" signals are extinct in my area here in Florida. In Maine, it was hard to find lights OTHER than 8".
