I'll be always sure that Toriyama thought about Vegeta (and Trunks) only after a long time, because many many many lines from DB dialogues seem to make us think that Crlin, Yamcha, Tien, and Jaozi will always be the main characters and heroes; Vegeta and all that shit about Saiyans were only improvised.

dragonball was nice. everyone's power was almost the same. goku picallo krillin yamcha tien chaotsu, etc. then in dragon ball z, goku became all overpowered and everyone else got kinda left behind >.>

@IntellectHelps those three guys had the most unique moves too :/ massive shame. if i was to change some things in dbz id make those three have bigger parts, alter the power difference between timelines (like in the buu saga frieza and cell die in like 1 punch :/) and rewove super saiyan 4 and redesign ss2 and 3.

Technically Mr.Popo was the world's strongest for all of Dragonball. Oddly I'm not sure Master Roshi was never the strongest human.Yajirobe held that honor for most of the series, then towards the end it became Tien.

But assuming piccolo can sense anything about kami other than he's about to die is your invention. Kami can communicate with anyone telepathically. @waldoman7 Refresh my memory: where did I say that other cultures used it to refer to "powerful evil entities"? You linked the word satan to christianity; I've pointed that the term means "enemy", and was used by pre christians(For example: in the Tanakh) to denote an enemy.
Therefore saying: "wouldn't have been used except as a direct reference to the christian Satan", is obviously incorrect. The word is common in judaism(pre christian), but judaism doesn't have the concept of devil :)

oh my god dragonball is so good. no power levels. no constant bombardment of ridiculously more powerful villains. actual plot and character development. cool fighting techniques and powers rather than just getting massive stronger. as far as i'm concerned the story ends with db lol. there is no z or gt.

@HaloLvl43Legit you're assuming things. You could just as easily assume kami found a way to hide his presence or kami can't be detecting inside another human which is why he did it. But assuming piccolo can sense anything about kami other than he's about to die is your invention. Kami can communicate with anyone telepathically. Piccolo wouldn't have any reason to want to read a human's mind if he can before he merges.

@GadGades The point of me assuming is that I have to assume because any explanation you presented were not explained to the audience. They're one in the same soul in DBZ logic this is to be expected. If Kami found a way to hide his presence it would've been shown so the viewer had an explanation.

Well not anymore than any other fighter in DB universe can, they can all to some extent sense each other individually though that comes up more later on. But kami had barely raised his ki before the quarter finals anyway.
